School Committed Pro-Trump Student To Psych Ward After Counterprotesting Anti-ICE Protest: Lawsuit

(Washington Stand) It sounds like a plotline from an overly dramatized high school television show: a junior at Torrey Pines High School in southern California was involuntarily committed to a psychiatric hospital without cause, according to a federal lawsuit filed August 19. The student, identified in the lawsuit only by the initials M.F., says he and another student, A.F., faced months of retaliation for expressing conservative views at an anti-ICE protest on school property.

On February 6, 2026, students at the high school organized a walk-out during fourth period (12:40 p.m.). Eventually, so many students joined the walk-out that they left campus and followed a march route used by a “No Kings” protest, according to the student newspaper. The event, supposedly organized by high schoolers alone, without any school endorsement, even had police protection for its off-campus march.

California Election Scandal Uncovered By ACLJ

(Townhall) For years, Americans have been told that concerns about noncitizens voting are a myth, a right-wing talking point unworthy of serious attention. However, California’s own Secretary of State and Attorney General have proven otherwise, not by admitting the state has no idea whether, or how often, it’s even happening, but because the state isn’t bothering to track it.

A few weeks ago, the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) submitted two California Public Records Act (CPRA) requests — one to the California Secretary of State and one to CA Attorney General Rob Bonta’s office — seeking records on how the state maintains the integrity of its voter rolls. The Attorney General’s office took an extension, ultimately responding on August 10.

The Secretary of State’s office responded first, but refused to provide any records responsive to our request. According to its answer, the statewide voter registration system simply “does not contain” a specific cancellation reason for non-citizenship.

The Fight Against Gavin Newsom's Anti-Free Press Law Is Just Getting Started

(Townhall) California Gov. Gavin Newsom signed the unconstitutional assembly bill dubbed the "Stop Nick Shirley Act" into law a few days ago. That nickname isn't entirely accurate; the legislation was proposed long before Nick Shirley exposed corruption in the state, and targeted other independent journalists who have been reporting on California's corruption and Gavin Newsom for years.

But with his signature, the clock now begins to run, and all it's doing is counting down the minutes until a court blocks this legislation for violating the First Amendment. That will happen, of course, but until then any journalist who tries to do his or her job in California faces serious legal trouble, and the process is the punishment here.

But Carl DeMaio has announced that the fight against the "Stop Nick Shirley Act" is just getting started. DeMaio is a California Assemblyman from the 75th district, and he's going to put an end to this unconstitutional law.

Idaho Tells Federal Court: There’s No Right To Abortion

(Life News) After an Idaho district court became the first federal court in the nation to “find” a new federal constitutional right to abortion post-Dobbs, Idaho Attorney General Raúl Labrador, serving alongside Alliance Defending Freedom attorneys, asked the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit Wednesday to allow the state to protect the lives of unborn children and women.

Just four years after the U.S. Supreme Court returned the issue of abortion to the people and their elected representatives, the district court ruled that Idaho can’t enforce its democratically enacted laws to protect unborn babies and their mothers. Attorneys explain that since the pro-life laws have been in effect, Idaho’s maternal mortality rate has plummeted.

But the district court’s ruling blows a hole in Idaho’s protection for life by allowing abortion doctors to decide—in their personal judgment—what maternal health risks are sufficient to terminate a baby. The district court even intimated that risk of a C-section would justify an abortion.

People Are Not Property: An America First Perspective On McKenna West

(Townhall) Two hundred and fifty years ago, our nation was founded on three defining principles: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. They remain, to this day, the cornerstone of the American Dream. Throughout our history, prominent America First voices and government leaders have steered public policy to reflect these principles. Yet among them, the right to life is foundational — for without life, neither liberty nor the pursuit of happiness can exist.

Recognizing this principle, President Thomas Jefferson made the following statement as he was completing his second term as president in 1809: “The care of human life and happiness, and not their destruction, is the first and only legitimate object of good government.” Even while our nation has never perfectly lived up to these ideals, it continues to be our true north. From the womb to the tomb — whether you are black, white, brown, rich, or poor — all life matters.

We find this to be especially true when reading about the unfolding situation involving McKenna West and the parents of a child diagnosed in utero with hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS). It is our belief and a core tenet of the America First Agenda that all humans have a God-given right to life.

US Colleges Working To Inject DEI Into AI For Classroom Use: Defending Education

(The Post Millennial) A new report from Defending Education has revealed how institutions of higher education in the United States are working to implement diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) ideology into artificial intelligence before the use of AI becomes fully integrated into the education system in the US.Defending Education wrote, “The goal of these institutions of higher education is to implement DEI ideology into AI before it can be fully integrated into America’s education system. If DEI is embedded in AI before schools adopt these new tools, then DEI becomes institutionalized in the nation’s schools through AI once those tools are implemented.”

The organization found a number of colleges and universities that are undertaking this work, including the Massachusetts Institute of Technology; University of California, Berkeley; Columbia University; Virginia State University; and Morgan State University.

Head US Islamic Org To Use $140 MILLION In Tithes To Finance Campaigns Of Muslims Running For Office

(The Post Millennial) Islamic organizers in the US are using tithing money from American Muslims to help finance the political campaigns of Muslim candidates.The Fiqh Council of North America recently issued a religious ruling (fatwa) allowing charitable giving and tithing known as “zakat” to be used for political purposes. The goal is reportedly to “empower” Muslim communities in the US and to fund campaigns supporting policies that oppose Israel and criminalize criticism of both the Prophet Muhammad and Islam.

The revelation is reportedly part of a broader effort by Muslim Americans to increase their political prominence and influence within American government. According to a report by RealClearInvestigations, Islamic organizers have worked to advance a potential political war chest of more than $140 million a year in mosque and other donations from Muslim Americans.

Los Angeles’s Homeless Crisis Deepens Under Mayor Bass

(California Globe) Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass promised to end street homelessness. Instead, the latest numbers show her administration is delivering the opposite. According to the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority’s 2026 Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count, released in late July, the city’s overall homeless population rose 3.4 percent to 45,194 people. Even more damning, the unsheltered population (those living on sidewalks, in tents, vehicles, or makeshift shelters) jumped 7.9 percent to 29,115. Across LA County, the figure climbed 1.2 percent to 73,040.

These are not statistical blips. After two years of modest declines that Bass touted as historic progress, the trend has reversed. LAHSA attributes much of the increase to funding cuts that paused enrollments in Time Limited Subsidies, causing permanent housing placements to drop from roughly 28,600 in 2024 to 23,532 in 2025. Economic pressures and a chronic shortage of affordable units continue to push new people onto the streets faster than the system can absorb them. With those bottlenecks still in place and no meaningful course correction in sight, the next count is all but certain to paint an even bleaker picture.

The New Tactic Of Gov’t Education: Parents Are The ‘Oppressors’ And Children Must Be ‘Liberated’

(Harbinger's Daily) In the ongoing war for the hearts and minds of America’s children, the left has unveiled its newest and most brazen weapon yet: Parents are the “oppressors” and children must be “liberated” from the “oppression.”

Under the banner of “ethnic studies” and the new buzzword “adultism,” teacher training programs and classroom curricula across more than 22 states are systematically teaching that parental authority is a form of oppression—tyranny, fascism, even.

Loving mothers and fathers who set boundaries on clothing, relationships, sexual activity, or medical decisions involving their own children are literally being cast as oppressors. In typical Marxist style, the “oppressed” — the children — are being groomed to rebel.

This is not education, of course.  It is psychological warfare designed to drive a wedge between children and the parents God gave them.

Bay Area Parents Sue School District For Mosque Field Trip

(Washington Stand) A coalition of parents in northern California has sued the Palo Alto Unified School District for a high school field trip to a mosque in the fall of 2025. “Students allegedly were encouraged to wear Islamic religious attire, were given Qurans, observed prayer, engaged with participants in a Quran-memorization program, and were exposed to messaging that portrayed Islam as uniquely aligned with social justice work,” the August 7 complaint declares. Strikingly, not a single family involved in the lawsuit is Christian.

The field trip took place as part of Palo Alto High School’s “Social Justice Pathway,” a three-year course track for sophomores through seniors. The program just happens to share its initials (SJP) with Students for Justice in Palestine, a college organization expelled from some campuses for its extreme pro-Hamas demonstrations in 2024.

(Gadget Review) A chatbot-generated summary, complete with timestamp, got pasted directly into the public record of an NDAA amendment process by a staffer in Rep. Anna Paulina Luna’s office. Nobody stopped it. Nobody was disciplined. According to the Washington Post, almost nobody was surprised.

That context anchors where Congress actually stands on artificial intelligence.

AI tools including ChatGPT, Claude, and Grok are already handling congressional work — speeches, mail sorting, hearing prep, and amendment drafting — across both chambers.

The House didn’t stumble into this quietly. It purchased 6,000 Microsoft Copilot licenses and actively encouraged staff adoption. Luna told the Washington Post that tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Grok are commonly used, and she didn’t view AI-generated summaries as illegal.

Vigilant To Protect: A Pastor’s Responsibility To Call Out False Teachers

(Harbinger's Daily) I recently watched a minister online. He gave a scathing critique of those who dare call out purveyors of false doctrine. He said we should love our fellow Christians. Paradoxically, he criticized those who criticize others. He seemed intent on inoculating his followers — making them immune to charges of false doctrine against his friends and himself.

In one sense, the attack seemed pious. Don’t criticize. Be loving. Be sweet. But Jesus ran the money changers out of the temple. In Revelation 2:6, He expressed disdain for the deeds of the Nicolaitans. In Matthew 7:15-16, Jesus said, “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits.”

In Matthew 24, He repeatedly warned that deceptive men will come as the end of the age approaches — false prophets and even false christs. Some will perform wonders and use the Lord’s name to bolster their own credibility. He said in verse 24, “False christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.”

Muslim Senate Candidate Called Jesus Model Of ‘Radical’ Action On Progressive Christian Podcast

(Washington Stand) The trend of Democratic Senate candidates who openly talk about religion continues to spread, reaching from Texas to Kansas and all the way to Michigan. But the schtick may prove no less successful than Tim Walz and Graham Platner (as examples of rugged masculinity) at connecting with Middle America. A leftist with a Christian accent is still a leftist.

The latest candidate to embrace the religious routine is Abdul El-Sayed, a Muslim candidate in Michigan whose policies largely align with the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), fresh off his Democratic primary victory for U.S. Senate on August 4. El-Sayed is making headlines for a podcast interview earlier this summer in which he allegedly compared himself to Jesus.

In a May 29 episode of “The Progressive Christians” podcast, El-Sayed was asked to respond to critics who called his ideas too radical. “Jesus, peace and blessings be upon him, was considered radical in his time too,” he replied.

PERKINS: Trust In Government Is Eroding. Here’s How To Bring It Back.

(Washington Stand) Over the last 50 years, trust in the federal government has declined dramatically. About 77% of Americans once said they trusted the government. Today, that number has fallen to roughly 18%.

Events this week on Capitol Hill provided fresh examples of why trust in the federal government has eroded.

In the Senate Homeland Security Committee, the alleged architect of America’s draconian COVID-19 policies, Anthony Fauci, invoked his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination more than 100 times. He refused to answer questions about the origins of the pandemic, efforts to suppress those who pointed to the Wuhan Institute of Virology as the likely source of the virus, funding for gain-of-function research, and COVID policies that closed businesses, schools, and churches while mandating vaccines. Fauci invoked the Fifth even though former President Joe Biden granted him a preemptive pardon, a fact that raises questions of its own.

Long enough that the raw, unified grief of that September has faded into something more like a civic ritual — a moment of silence, a name-reading, a flag at half-staff, and then back to whatever we were doing," he reminded his readers.

Trump Admin Ends Medicaid Funding For Child Sex-Change Procedures

(The Post Millennial) The Trump administration on Tuesday revealed that it is ending the use of federal Medicaid and Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) funding for sex-change surgeries and procedures for minors. The final rule unveiled by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) will go into effect on October 13.

Trump announced, “Today, at my direction, Dr. Mehmet Oz announced that Medicaid will NO LONGER fund gender transition surgeries and hormones for minors. We are not going to pay for our innocent children to undergo these barbaric surgeries and practices, which result in unthinkable and irreversible harm to their young bodies,” Trump wrote.

“Thanks to our strong position and pressure on this issue over the past year and a half, dozens of US hospitals have already ended this so-called ‘gender-affirming care,’ and we expect many more to follow. Just think about all of the young, innocent, and perhaps confused children who will be spared!

RFK Jr Accuses Former HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra Of Gutting Fraud Oversight

(California Globe) Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. delivered a blistering indictment of his predecessor, Xavier Becerra, on Tuesday, accusing the former Biden administration official of systematically dismantling the agency’s program integrity staff and opening the floodgates to massive taxpayer fraud.

Speaking at a White House Task Force to Eliminate Fraud press conference in Los Angeles focused on the city’s homelessness response, Kennedy detailed how Becerra reduced the number of personnel overseeing HHS’s $2.2 trillion in annual payments from 80 to just six.

“When I came in, there’s only six people who are in charge of all program integrity for my department!” Kennedy said. “My predecessor, Xavier Becerra, when he came into my agency, there were only 80 people in program integrity, 80 people. This is for 50 states and five territories.These are the people who are monitoring $2.2 trillion dollars in payments annually from my agency!”

Kennedy emphasized the scale of the responsibility those few staffers carried. “We do four million transactions a day. There’s only 80 people looking at those. Xavier Becerra came in and transferred 76 of them out.”

Pro-Abortion Groups Are Spending $100 Million To Take Over Congress

(Life News) Planned Parenthood just announced a $47 million budget for their midterm election blitz. The ACLU is spending $25 million specifically to push pro-abortion propaganda. And, Reproductive Freedom for All (formerly NARAL) is spending $23.5 million.

That’s nearly $100 million, all aimed at one goal: flipping the U.S. Senate for Chuck Schumer, his pals at the DSA (Democratic Socialists of America), and the Abortion Lobby this November.

Last week we got proof their plan may be working.

A new poll out of Texas shows Democrat James Talarico jumping to a 5-point lead over Attorney General Ken Paxton in the race for U.S. Senate – his largest lead of the entire general election. This is a race that could decide who controls the Senate.

Witchcraft Courses Rapidly Expand Across University Campuses

(Harbinger's Daily) This fall, Arizona State University is offering eight courses with words like witchcraft, magic, or the occult in the title. Meanwhile, one course will cover the bedrock faith of Western Civilization.

“Think about that for a moment,” writes Owen Anderson, who teaches philosophy and religion at the university, at The Blaze. “At one of the largest public universities in the country, students can choose from a small festival of courses on witchcraft, while Christianity receives [only] a single titled course.”

A quick web search reveals other major universities across the country are offering similar classes.

ASU might argue the courses fall under the classification of history and do not promote witchcraft and the occult. But at least one course syllabus does not bear that out.

Why Everything We Think We Know About Marijuana Needs An Update

(Washington Stand) America has a surprisingly long history debating marijuana. Long before Mexico prohibited the sale of the drug in the 1920s and the U.S. imposed a tax on the sale and possession in 1937, communities in both countries were raising the alarm on the ways recreational marijuana use was harming individuals and the public overall.

In the 1970s, the federal government classified it as a Schedule I drug under the newly minted Controlled Substances Act. At the same time, tobacco giant Philip Morris entered into an agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice to study the toxicity and carcinogenesis of inhaled marijuana without the public’s knowledge, and this information was forced into the light during the litigation of Big Tobacco in the late 1990s.

When a small handful of states began testing the waters by “legalizing” this federally illegal drug, President Obama opened the floodgates to mass commercialization in 2012 by announcing his administration would not enforce federal law. Since then, the carte blanche rescheduling of high-potency marijuana for therapeutic purposes by the Trump administration this past spring has only made a chaotic legal issue even more murky.

Liberal Judges Allow CA’s Corrupt Politicians to Rig Election

(California Globe) Assemblyman Carl DeMaio (R-San Diego) just announced that Liberal Judges have sided with California’s Corrupt Politicians to Try to Rig Election Against Prop 39’s Bipartisan Voter ID Initiative, after AG Rob Bonta issued a new ballot title to Proposition 39.

“Corrupt politicians are showing every voter why we need to enact Prop 39 to implement a bipartisan solution to Voter ID,” DeMaio said.

The Globe reported:

California Attorney General Rob Bonta faces accusations of rigging the ballot language for Proposition 39, the Voter Identification, Citizenship Verification, and Registered Voter List Administration Initiative, just months before the November 2026 election.

Thieves redistribute income. They take money from someone who has earned it and give it to somebody else — usually themselves. It is possible that the thief actually needs the money more than the person he stole it from; most thieves are poor for the simple reason that they’d rather steal than work for a living. But yes, the “poorer” person might truly obtain something he needs (“wants”) more than the “richer” person he robs. That’s common in human history.

Prophecy Is The Bible’s Built-In Certificate Of Divine Authenticity

(Harbinger's Daily) Bible prophecy is the one line of evidence God wrote down in advance so anyone could check it. About 28 percent of the Bible was prophecy when it was written, roughly 80 percent of it has already been fulfilled to the exact detail, and the fulfillment rate on everything past is 100 percent. That track record is what makes fulfilled prophecy the most compelling reason to trust that the Bible is from God.

I grew up completely unchurched and bought the world’s way of thinking hook, line, and sinker. I believed in evolution, thought the Bible was a book of fairy tales, and did not believe Jesus was even a historical figure. All of this as a young teenager.

Then I wound up in a Christian private school for three months, and things began to change. As I heard bits and pieces of the Biblical claims, I doubted them all, but I wrestled with them because some people I respected sincerely believed them. I could still explain most of it away in my head. But there was one thing I could not explain away: fulfilled prophecy.

The Average Man Rejected Socialism. White Affluent Liberals Chose It For Him

(The Federalist) Socialist Abdul El-Sayed narrowly defeated Rep. Haley Stevens by roughly a point with nearly all votes counted in Michigan’s Democrat primary for U.S. Senate.

El-Sayed campaigned on things like Medicare for All, investing in “affordable” housing, and abolishing ICE. He previously called for defunding the police. His campaign website says he believes “in an economy built by and for working people.”

But the coalition that helped El-Sayed cinch the Democrat nomination is not the constituency his rhetoric implies he cares about. His victory was not the result of support from the low-income or rural voters or groups traditionally thought to constitute working-class communities (which his policies claim to focus on). Instead, younger, wealthier, and “educated” voters in college towns spurred his campaign to victory.

Canadian Doctors Want to Kill Patients by Harvesting Their Organs

(Life News) Not sure if even the classic horror movies went this far, but three doctors are pushing a plan that would kill people by taking their organs for transplant.

Of course it would be all right because the victims would have requested euthanasia anyway.

A report from LifesiteNews said the doctors, from Canada where euthanasia is routinely imposed and commonly recommended as a health care treatment, wrote a paper, “Contextualizing the dead donor rule in an era of voluntary euthanasia,” in the New England Journal of Medicine.

It is Drs. Ian Ball, Carter Winberg and Robert Truog who said, “In death by organ donation, the patient’s authorization, experience, and outcome are not altered by whether death occurs moments before or during organ retrieval.”

(Washington Stand) France’s recent social media ban for minors under 15 has reignited the conversation of whether the U.S. should follow suit. America’s hesitancy is surprising from the perspective of someone who was that age not too long ago.

The debate surrounding a ban on social media has largely moved past questioning whether social platforms are positive, negative, or neutral tools. Studies abound demonstrating the addictive properties of social media and their correlation to sleeplessness, self-image issues, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts — especially among minors. The surgeon general even issued a statement recommending health warnings on social media platforms, akin to those required for tobacco companies, and limiting minors’ access. By 2026, most people don’t need convincing that social media has its problems.

Controversial AI System Could Make Decisions About ‘Child Welfare'

(Harbinger's Daily) Deeply controversial Artificial Intelligence systems will be making more decisions about “child welfare” across America as technocratic governance expands; at least if the scheme is not stopped. With child welfare bureaucracies already out of control and under fire, critics are sounding the alarm.

As has become typical with these sorts of intrusions, the feds are key players. In this case, the federal government is once again dangling taxpayer dollars in front of the state governments to get compliance. The goal: inject AI and predictive analytics deeper into America’s already bloated and destructive “child welfare” apparatus.

The Department of Health and Human Services, through its Administration for Children and Families, is offering $6 million in grants so states, territories, and tribal governments can pilot predictive risk-modeling tools. These AI systems will supposedly help case workers decide which children are in danger, and which families can be left alone.

Are You Ready To Vote?

(Dr. James Dobson) The November elections are now less than 100 days away. While this isn’t a presidential election year, these races are incredibly important nonetheless. All 435 members of the House of Representatives are on the ballot, along with 35 of the 100 senators, 36 governors, and more than 6,000 state legislators.

Whoever prevails at the polls will have a huge impact on faith, family, and freedom—the things Dr. James Dobson and I fought side by side to defend. Storm In Seattle: Team Co-Owner Fined, Suspended

(Washington Stand) The WBNA’s Seattle Storm fined its own co-owner, Celeste Keaton, and suspended her from attending the next five home games after Keaton confronted and cursed at teenage fans of a visiting team’s player on Tuesday. The fans cheered Indiana Fever’s Sophie Cunningham with a courtside sign reading, “Thank you, Sophie, for speaking up for girls.” Cunningham said last week, “young girls in sport … shouldn’t have to go against biological men.” For one owner of a female sports team, even the idea of teenage girls endorsing this message was too much to handle.

“We hadn’t said anything to anyone else, we were being super respectful, we were just holding our signs and cheering for both teams, and this lady comes up to us,” one of the girls told independent journalist Brandi Kruse. The girls did not know Keaton, nor did they learn that she was a co-owner of the Seattle Storm until later.

In that entry, Fauci complained about having to prevent the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) from admitting that the shots were not all that effective at preventing transmission of the virus, saying that he didn’t want this to get out because it would undermine the justifications for mandates and confidence in the upcoming boosters. What he did not explain is why it was so important to have the mandates and the boosters if they were not in fact effective at saving lives. He did, however, describe the truth as "damning."

California voters overwhelmingly approved Prop 36 in 2024 to restore felony penalties for repeat theft and drug crimes. Prop 36 passed by 68%, and notably, passed in every one of California’s 58 counties. That’s a mandate.

Shocking Stats In Oregon Make It The Leading State In Child Mutilation

(Washington Stand) Teens are more likely to receive a transgender-related diagnosis than Type 2 diabetes in the state of Oregon, a recent report found. The Beaver State also classifies the hormones and surgeries that come with attempting a gender transition as “medically necessary” for these teenagers, The Wall Street Journal notes.

WSJ reported that according to the study, published in Research Connections, “at age 17, roughly 1 in every 240 girls and 1 in every 630 boys in Oregon received cross-sex hormones for ‘gender dysphoria’ between 2016 and 2023. These figures,” Leor Sapir and Paul Terdal observe, “are triple and double the national average for girls and boys, respectively. For younger children the disparity is even greater: Cross-sex hormone use in the study was four to five times the national rate among 14- and 15-year-olds, and puberty-blocker use was more than five times the national rate at age 14.”

The article highlights Crow Harmony, a 21-year-old transgender male, and his boyfriend, who had also transitioned. If you’re confused about what that makes them, you’re not alone, but just put that aside. The article goes on to say that this “couple” had no money, no employment prospects, and had lost their housing before leaving Florida for what they believed would be the safety of Seattle.

Virginia Muslim Dem Moves To Codify 'Islamophobia' Into State Law Despite Free Speech Objections

Supporters of the law say the change would help police more accurately identify and classify bias-motivated offenses against Muslims and those perceived to be Muslim.

Measure Marxist Progress By Institutional Skepticism

California Dismisses Supreme Court Ruling, Will Continue To Allow ‘Transgender’-Identified Male Athletes In Girls Sports

Reporter Jackson Thompson posted on X about the governor’s office’s response to the Supreme Court’s ruling in State of West Virginia v. BPJ that states are allowed to protect girls and women’s sports with laws that keep sports separate based on biology.

But the Court’s ruling did not overturn state laws that allow boys to compete on the basis of “gender identity,” a spurious, completely subjective individual and social construct.

(Washington Stand) Pro-life organization Heartbeat International (HBI) is on trial in a California court for daring to inform women that the effects of the abortion pill can sometimes be reversed. “Heartbeat International is fighting for one thing: The ability to tell women the truth when they call seeking help after taking the first abortion pill and regretting their decision,” HBI general counsel Danielle White said in a statement to The Washington Stand. “Women deserve to know all of their options. They don’t lose that right after beginning a chemical abortion.”

In 2023, California Attorney General Rob Bonta (D) sued HBI and pro-life pregnancy center RealOptions in Alameda County Court for “advertising Abortion Pill Reversal as safe and effective.” Bonta asked the court to impose a penalty of more than $20 million against HBI and $600,000 against RealOptions, which would amount to a financial death sentence for the nonprofits.

Through Compromise, Numerous Modern Churches Are Guilty Of ‘Playing The Harlot’

Hosea 4:12 says, “My people ask counsel from their wooden idols, and their [wooden] staff informs them. For the spirit of harlotry has caused them to stray, and they have played the harlot against their God.”

Hosea used strong language against his fellow Israelites, calling them harlots because they had violated their vows to remain faithful to the one true God. Is it possible that Christians today, and particularly Christian leaders—in their zeal to make Christianity more enticing—are actually “playing the harlot,” too? Here is what I mean.

Born-again Christians who love the Lord, preach the gospel, and insist on the inerrancy of Scriptures are saddened when they read how the Israelites compromised God’s Word as they embraced more and more pagan beliefs (including idolatry) from the nations around them.

Bill To Prohibit Sex Offenders And Human Traffickers From Elected Office Amended To Exempt Pedophiles

(California Globe) AB 2691 by Assemblywoman Dawn Addis (D-San Luis Obispo) prohibits persons convicted of “sexual assault” and “human trafficking” from running for any state or local elective office in California. It’s a good bill, with good intent… or was.

Recent amendments made on June 24, 2026, added in exemptions for pedophile adults who target children for sex.

The bill was heard in the Senate Elections Committee Tuesday morning (see below).

What no longer counts as “sexual assault” under this Elections code was amended in the bill above (AB 2691). Prior to Tuesday’s Senate hearing, the amendments were made at the request of Senator Scott Wiener (D-San Francisco) who is the Committee Chairman of the Senate Elections Committee, according to the California Family Council.

Enemies Within: The Threat Of Communism To America

(Washington Stand) Less than five years after the end of the Second World War, as the communist Soviet Union rapidly consolidated its control over much of central and Eastern Europe, Senator Joseph McCarthy (R-Wis.) introduced a shocking claim: Anywhere from 50 to more than 200 communist agents were working in the U.S. government, covertly advancing the agenda of international communism and subverting American culture and society.

“The State Department is infested with communists,” McCarthy is reported to have said, speaking at a Republican fundraising event in February of 1950. The senator produced a piece of paper which he said contained the names of known communists in the employ of then-president Harry Truman’s State Department. There is no audio or video recording of the speech and there is some dispute over whether McCarthy alleged that there 57 communists in the State Department or 205; many of those present reported that McCarthy said “205,” although others report that he said “57,” which is the number McCarthy cited both in communications to Truman and in the congressional record.

Idaho Brings The Firing Squad Back To Center Stage

Focus On Child Welfare Accompanies Declining Support For Same-Sex Marriage

Eleven years after the Supreme Court legalized it nationwide by judicial fiat, public support for the practice appears to be suffering an about-face. As Family Research Council President Tony Perkins observed last week on this trend, “major social changes have historically become more accepted over time, not less.” But not for same-sex marriage — not anymore.

According to a Gallup poll released earlier this month, support for same-sex marriage has dropped six percentage points since 2022 and 2023, although it remains at an elevated 65%. Most Democrats (87%) still support same-sex marriage. But support has stumbled among Republicans, falling from 55% to 37% in just four years, and support is down among Independents, too.

(Daily Signal) The Democratic Party and the Democratic Socialists of America are becoming indistinguishable from one another.

That’s clearly the case in New York City, as a wave of socialist House candidates backed by openly socialist Mayor Zohran Mamdani won primary elections on Tuesday against incumbent Democrats.

In some cases, both leading candidates were quite far to the Left, but Democrat primary voters simply voted for the one who was more fervently anti-Israel—which is absolutely becoming the biggest litmus test in Democratic Party primary fights.

One of Tuesday night’s victors in a House primary election, Darializa Avila Chevalier, is truly off the deep end in every way. Chevalier backs full prison abolition, which she is unable to defend coherently, though still fervently supports it. She’s opposed to deporting any illegal aliens, even rapists and murderers.

Oh, and she founded a college campus organization that’s mostly committed to rabidly hating Israel, but also in favor of “fighting for the total eradication of Western civilization.”

DOJ Confirms Over 450 Fraud Prosecutions Launched In Past Two Weeks

(Washington Stand) Federal law enforcement and prosecutors are revealing that rampant fraud is plaguing the entirety of the U.S. — not just cities like Minneapolis or Los Angeles. The Department of Justice (DOJ) announced at a press conference Tuesday that it has charged more than 450 individuals across 45 states for defrauding taxpayer-funded health care programs of approximately $6.5 billion.

“This announcement marks the greatest combined federal and state effort in combating health care fraud in history,” acting Attorney General Todd Blanche asserted. “This team is working tirelessly to take down fraudsters who steal from taxpayer-funded programs and prey on vulnerable Americans.”

According to Blanche, the White House Task Force to Eliminate Fraud and the DOJ have been joined by multiple executive branch agencies and 41 state attorneys general to tackle crippling fraud across the country.

5 Years Post-Covid, Public Middle Schoolers Still Can’t Read Or Do Math

(The Federalist) Last week, the National Center for Education Statistics released results from the 2025 National Assessment of Educational Progress Long-Term Trend Assessments. These widely respected reading and mathematics tests have been administered periodically to representative samples of 9- and 13-year-old students since the 1970s. While some student groups have made promising gains, test results suggest that our public schools continue to fall short for far too many children.

Nine-year-old students appear to be headed in the right direction. Reading and mathematics scores for this group increased from 2022 to 2025, and scores in both subjects remain significantly higher than those recorded in the 1970s. While the results for 9-year-olds were promising, the most recent increase in reading scores merely rebounded to pre-COVID levels, and achievement gaps persist across multiple student demographic groups.

On the other hand, results for 13-year-old students remain appalling.

Through the California Public Utilities Commission’s Supplier Diversity Program under General Order 156, large investor-owned utilities face escalating procurement “goals” for state-certified LGBT Business Enterprises (LGBTBEs).

These targets reached 1.5 percent in 2024 and beyond, channeling hundreds-of-millions of dollars (figures cited in recent analyses approach $633 million annually across related categories) toward businesses whose owners must prove their sexual orientation or transgender identity to government-approved certifiers.

This is not neutral supplier outreach. It is preferential treatment baked into the contracting process for entities ultimately funded by ratepayers.And the mechanism for accessing those preferences is a bureaucratic checklist so intrusive and subjective that it would be laughable–if it were not backed by the force of state policy and the threat of penalties for misrepresentation.

(Harbingers Daily) More than two decades ago, in 2004, Harvard professor Samuel Huntington warned in his book “Who Are We?” that America was facing a crisis of identity. He argued that a nation cannot remain united without a common culture, a common history, and a common understanding of itself. Remove those foundations, and a society inevitably fragments into competing tribes, interests, and identities.

Huntington pointed to the Anglo-Protestant Creed as the core of America’s unifying identity. He argued that America’s political institutions and civic ideals did not arise in a vacuum but were rooted in a culture shaped by Protestant Christianity. If Huntington identified the foundation of America’s shared identity, educator E.D. Hirsch explained how that identity was transmitted: through a common biblical literacy that provided Americans with a shared vocabulary, history, and moral framework. Without that shared knowledge, the cultural foundations of national identity inevitably begin to erode.

The Founding Fathers were immersed in biblical imagery. Benjamin Franklin famously proposed a national seal depicting Moses at the Red Sea. The Israelites’ exodus taught lessons about liberty, tyranny, divine providence, and national purpose.

Pro-Life Group Victimized by Custom-Made Cyber Attack

Over the weekend, David Daleiden’s pro-life group, The Center for Medical Progress, became a victim of what their web hosting company calls a “custom-made malware attack,” which shut down the site.

The attack wasn’t an attempt at fraud or theft but was apparently the work of someone opposed to the organization—almost certainly a pro-abortion activist or group of activists.

In an email sent on Monday, Daleiden said, “[O]ur web host told us we were intentionally hacked by an entity that wants to harm us.”
