(Life News) The global mushrooming of the culture of death we are witnessing did not happen overnight. Nations did not suddenly decide that human life was disposable. Rather, over decades, we have become deadened to the value and dignity of human life, one excuse at a time.

A major turning point for the United States began in 1973, the year of Roe v. Wade, a landmark Supreme Court decision that established a constitutional right for a woman to end the life of her unborn child. For over half a century, our country permitted the intentional destruction of human life under the pretense of law. In the U.S. alone, more than 65 million unborn children have been killed in their mothers’ wombs since Roe, and nearly 73 million abortions occur worldwide every year.

Although the Supreme Court overturned Roe in 2022 and returned the issue of abortion to the states, it did not erase the moral brainwashing that took place over the past five decades. The deeper problem was not simply what the law permitted; it was what happened to our nation’s conscience.

(American Greatness) As I noted last week, students often use AI to cheat. A Fordham Institute paper, “High Tech, Low Standards: High School in the Age of Distraction,” reports that 48 percent of students use AI to solve math problems, 36 percent use it to summarize books or texts to avoid reading them, 29 percent use it to write the first drafts of their essays or reports, and 26 percent use it for help during quizzes and tests.

When asked to respond to statements about AI’s effects on school, 58 percent of students agree that it has made homework meaningless, and 57 percent agree that it lets students get good grades without doing real work. (As a former teacher, I can tell you that homework was problematic before AI came along. When students turned in homework, I was never sure whether they had done it or whether a parent, a sibling, or the next-door neighbor had.)

Most recently, the AI problem surfaced when the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) released findings from the 2025 Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA), a global measure of educational achievement that assesses the knowledge and skills of 15-year-old students.

(Washington Stand) A state law in California ostensibly meant to make it easier for religious institutions and nonprofit colleges to rezone their property for building low-income housing for the homeless is now being used to potentially confiscate church property, according to legal experts in the Golden State.

The controversy began in October 2023, when California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) signed into law a measure that allowed religious institutions and nonprofit colleges to bypass local zoning laws in order to quickly establish affordable housing. The measure was apparently intended to make it easier for local jurisdictions to abide by state regulations that mandate a certain amount of appropriately zoned land in order to accommodate population growth across all economic levels, including extremely low-income individuals like the homeless.

Some 800,000 people lined the Avenue des Champs-Élysées for an open-air Mass in Paris, catching the media and civil authorities by surprise. France is supposed to be a secular country, after all."

(Washington Stand) Americans are worried about artificial intelligence, and most believe their government is not doing enough about the technology’s risks.

A new Reuters/Ipsos poll released October 7 found that 57% of registered voters say the Trump administration has not taken AI risks seriously enough, and 54% say the same of Congress. Bipartisan majorities, 80% of Democrats and 61% of Republicans, want stricter regulation. Eighty-four percent see AI as a threat to American workers, 62% fear the technology could slip out of control and endanger humanity’s future, and 57% oppose letting AI select military strike targets.

Those numbers suggest that Americans see a government standing still while technology races ahead. The picture is incomplete. The Trump administration is building an AI governance system; it simply rejects the heavy regulatory model many Americans expect

(The Federalist) In exposing Jack Smith’s lawless, corrupt, and tyrannical effort to criminalize the MAGA movement, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, revealed jarring new details about the extent of the Jan. 6-justified lawfare campaign.

Smith’s partisan team carried out a fishing expedition on behalf of the Biden administration and Democrat Party that went beyond obtaining the text messages of more than 40 members of Congress despite the weaponizers knowing it likely violated the Constitution’s speech and debate clause. It also encompassed the issuance of some 197 subpoenas for records relating to 430 Republican individuals and organizations, or the collection of nearly 5,000 checks from mainly small-dollar Trump donors. But on top of all that, Grassley divulged that Smith’s sleuths secured messages from 87 Trump I White House phones and hoovered up the communications of nearly 50 media members at well over a dozen outlets, including those of The Federalist’s own Mollie Hemingway.

(The Federalist) On Sept. 17, the American Freedom Law Center filed a landmark lawsuit on behalf of a Dearborn, Michigan, resident, alleging that the Arab-majority Detroit suburb, led by Muslim officials, has promoted Islam and discriminated against and fostered hostility towards Christians and Jews — in violation of the Constitution’s establishment clause.

The details of the case brought by my courageous colleague, Federalist Senior Legal Correspondent Margot Cleveland, are shocking. She alleges that Dearborn’s leaders have endorsed glitzy Ramadan displays and advertised an iftar dinner with public funds. Conversely, they have allegedly ignored Cleveland’s requests for comparable commemorations for Christian and Jewish holidays and sidestepped concerns over public rallies glorifying jihadism. They have also berated a Christian pastor and fellow constituent. Dearborn Mayor Abdullah Hammoud called Pastor Ted Barham a “bigot” and “Islamophobe” who “is not welcome here” when he questioned the city’s renaming of a city street for an avowed Hamas and Hezbollah supporter.

(Townhall) Thomas Jefferson and James Madison knew nothing about neural networks, large language models, or autonomous agents. Yet as America celebrates its 250th anniversary, they may have understood the two principles America most needs to govern AI wisely. Human rights do not come from power, and power must never be trusted without limits.

The Declaration of Independence begins with the first principle. Its claim that all people are “created equal” and “endowed by their Creator” with unalienable rights places human dignity beyond the reach of government. Rights do not exist because the state grants them, because employers find us useful, or because markets reward our productivity.

That truth becomes especially important in an age of ever more capable machines. Artificial intelligence (AI) can already write, analyze, translate, and diagnose at speeds no individual can match. If human worth ultimately depends upon intelligence or economic productivity, then AI creates an uncomfortable question about what makes people valuable after computers can outperform them at work, in school, or even in creative fields.

(Harbinger's Daily) With just a little over a month until Election Day, the balance of power in Congress is not the only thing at stake.

Addressing the Family Research Council’s (FRC) Pray Vote Stand Summit last week in Leesburg, Va., House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) characterized the midterm elections as a battle of worldviews.

“We’re at a crossroads,” Johnson said during a video interview with FRC President Tony Perkins. “It’s not just a contest right now between Republicans and Democrats. As everybody in that auditorium knows, this is a contrast between two completely different worldviews for America, who we are, and what we’re going to be. And that’s what’s on the ballot.”

(Daily Signal) The Trump administration’s proposed changes to the 2030 U.S. census, to cease counting illegal immigrants, could boost congressional seats and electoral votes for battleground states such as Pennsylvania and Wisconsin at the expense of large states such as California and Texas, research suggests.

A 2024 study projected immigration trends under the Biden administration for the 2030 census, said Steven Camarota, director of research at the Center for Immigration Studies. Those projections would be altered by President Donald Trump’s existing crackdown on illegal immigration and could be reversed entirely under the census proposal.

“This census proposal could flip the dynamic,” Camarota told the Daily Signal. “Midwestern states would not lose as much, nor would Texas or California, which have large immigrant populations, both legal and illegal, gain as much.”

The current census model apportions congressional districts to states based on total population rather than total citizens. But the administration published a regulation in the Federal Register last month, now open for public comment, that would no longer count illegal aliens or legal residents with a status lower than a green card. The new rule would also eliminate questions on the form about race and sexual preference.

(Washington Stand) Seldom in public life is it possible for a legislator to say that a measure he or she authored directly saved millions of human lives. That distinction exists for what has proven to be one of the most durable pro-life bills ever enacted, the Hyde Amendment, which blocks the use of federal funds to pay for abortions.

Today is the 50th anniversary of the 312-93 vote in the U.S. House of Representatives to enact the amendment by overriding President Gerald Ford’s veto of the appropriations bill that contained it. Ford’s veto had been on fiscal grounds and not objection to Hyde, which enjoyed broad bipartisan support for much of its existence.

The eminent statistician Michael J. New, Ph.D., has worked over the years to document the continuing impact of Hyde’s legislation.

(Washington Stand) Rogue, scheming, deceptive, and out of control: those are the disturbing words now surrounding artificial intelligence. They conjure images of a machine developing a mind of its own, slipping its human leash and eventually becoming something resembling Hollywood’s “Terminator.”

That concern reached Capitol Hill on September 30, when a Senate Homeland Security subcommittee chaired by Senator Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) convened a hearing titled “Rogue AI: Securing the Homeland Against AI Agent Attacks.” Senators heard testimony about AI agents hacking computer systems, circumventing restrictions, and taking actions no human had directed.

(Faith & Freedom) Socialism has reached its highest level of public favorability in Gallup polling, with 43% of Americans now saying they have a positive view of the economic system.

The figure, released Wednesday, is the first time socialism has surpassed 39% in Gallup’s trend dating back to 2010. Socialism still trails capitalism and free enterprise, which 55% and 81% of Americans view positively, respectively, but it has now overtaken big business, which has a 35% favorability rating. Small business remains the most popular of the five economic concepts tested, at 95%.

(Harbinger's Daily) New research has revealed the stunning extent to which transgender-identifying males have taken over women’s sporting events, finding that almost 2,300 first-place medals have been taken by males. Women’s sports advocates say that federal legislation must be passed to once again restore a fair playing field for women and girls nationwide.

On Tuesday, Concerned Women for America’s Legislative Action Committee (CWALAC) released research showing trans-identifying biological men who have been allowed to compete in female sporting events have taken 2,293 first-place medals from women and girls in the U.S. This has translated to women in professional sports losing $501,498 in prize money. The research further found that in Democrat-run states like California, over 611 women and girls have lost out on finishing first in sporting events due to males taking the top spot. All told, biological males have competed in over 14,300 amateur and professional female sporting events.

(Washington Stand) The United States Armed Forces allows homeschoolers to enlist, but the city of Fremont, Nebraska appears to think they are unfit to join their local fire department. Now, the governor’s office is investigating.

Andrew Coates, a 22-year-old volunteer firefighter at Fremont Fire Department, hoped to turn his charity work into a full-time job. But his application was denied by the city, who claimed that since his high school diploma is from a homeschooling program, it was not from an accredited high school. When Coates applied in April 2026, there was no rule barring homeschoolers from becoming firefighters. After the closing date of the application, Coates was notified that he had been disqualified — the rules had apparently changed and he was no longer eligible. Last week, Fremont’s Civil Service Commission reviewed an appeal from Coates, before deciding that it didn’t have the authority to overturn the city’s employment policy.

(The Post Millennial) The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), an organization with ties to terror groups, is pushing to mobilize 3 million more Muslim voters ahead of the 2026 midterm elections. Approximately 53 percent of the Muslim community in the US leans more Democrat while 42 percent lean Republican, meaning that the mobilization will likely be in favor of Democrats.

CAIR's project to mobilize Muslim voters across the US, called Muslims Vote, is a strategic plan to register and push for more voter turnout from the Muslim community in what CAIR called an election with "unprecedented stakes and unprecedented capacity."

Tyler Bowyer, the COO of Turning Point Action, said in a post that the effort will be devastating for the chances of Republicans in 2028. "Our side isn’t prepared for what CAIR is doing for the Democrats. Between this and illegals — they will overrun America for the 2028 election and then the census. Anyone fighting for Islam is aiding this. Better wake up now," he said.

(The Federalist) Nikole Hannah-Jones, creator of the controversial 1619 Project and a frequent critic of school choice programs, recently confessed in an essay that in order to live up to her woke ideology, she and her husband enrolled their daughter, Najya, in underperforming inner-city elementary and middle schools. They did so hoping their resources and connections would help improve them but later recognized that this decision cost their daughter’s education. When Najya transitioned to a more rigorous high school through a school choice program, she experienced noticeable gaps in her academic preparation, particularly in math, and felt she hadn’t received the education she wanted.

This experience highlights the consequences when educational decisions are guided by ideology rather than student needs. While Hannah-Jones moved her daughter to a higher-performing school, many students from less advantaged backgrounds remain in underperforming schools.

(PJ Media) Ask a Democrat how far he or she would go to get rid of President Donald Trump, and the honest answer, according to a new poll of self-identified liberals by the Center for Strategic Politics, is further than anyone should be comfortable admitting out loud.

But let’s start with the numbers that shouldn't shock anyone.

As you might expect, 87% said they'd feel positive if Trump were impeached, convicted by both houses of Congress, and removed from office. Another 84% said they'd feel positive if Trump's Cabinet invoked the 25th Amendment and forced him out, with 70% landing on very positive. Fine. That's politics.

But it gets worse from there. So much worse.

(Washington Stand) For most of the AI revolution, one assumption held: human beings were building ever more capable machines. That assumption no longer holds.

Anthropic disclosed this week that Claude now leads 26% of the company’s AI research and development work, up from less than 1% in February, completing most tasks from a high-level prompt while a human supervises. Anthropic says Claude is not autonomously building its successor, but published the figures because AI helping build more powerful AI could make advanced systems harder for people to understand or control.

This month, one thread runs through all five: AI is no longer just advancing, it has begun to participate in the process that advances it.

(American Family News) The Founding Fathers who fought for liberty wouldn't recognize how people define the word today.

A recently released survey from the Indispensable Institute for Family Studies shows vice has a vice grip on young men. Among men 18 to 29 years old, 27% view pornography daily and another 16% do so several times a week. Young men who view pornography multiple times a day are about twice as likely to be lonely and depressed.

It's not just young men doing things that would have been unimaginable a few decades ago. Public libraries host drag queen story hours, exposing little children to men pretending to be a sexualized version of a woman. Students in school libraries can find books so explicit that reading them out loud isn't allowed at school board meetings.

(Washington Stand) Election season is upon us, and you may already be tired of text messages, TV commercials, and mail pieces — all trying to get you to vote for a certain candidate. How do you sort through the slick messages and hype to make the best decision? The answer may be in that Bible in front of you.

First, we know the Bible speaks directly or indirectly to so many issues. Whether it’s marriage, gender, abortion, religious liberty, or even fiscal policy, there are scriptural principles that can be applied. But we have to know those to recall them. Voters often get swayed by the latest commercial or social media posts. Many churches teach verse-by-verse through the Old and New Testament these days, and that gives ample opportunity to apply scriptural principles to modern day issues. Whether it’s Nehemiah, Esther, Daniel, Joseph, Paul, or Jesus, biblical characters interact with government and policy, often taking strong stands for God and His word — sometime at great peril.

(Harbinger's Daily) Twenty-five years ago, nearly 3,000 innocents were murdered in the deadliest single terrorist attack in human history. We mourn those we lost in New York, Virginia, and Pennsylvania, and we pray for the loved ones they left behind who continue to feel that loss every day of their lives.

Like every American over a certain age, I remember exactly where I was on 9/11. After my wife called to tell me to turn on the news, I watched the horrors of that day unfold on television, and I knew that the country I loved – and the world – had changed forever.

People talk about the unity we felt after the attack, and it’s true: Americans were united in heartbreak for the victims and their families, and in horror that such evil could be perpetrated against our countrymen. I certainly shared that feeling – but I also felt profound anger. In the years that followed, conventional liberal opinion held that this was somehow not an appropriate reaction – but that anger was righteous, it was true, and it was clarifying.

(Washington Stand) Late Tuesday night, the House forced Washington to confront a question it has spent decades avoiding: who owns an American war?

On September 15, the House voted 220-204 for H. Con. Res. 93, directing President Trump, under Section 5(c) of the War Powers Resolution, to remove U.S. forces from hostilities against Iran unless Congress authorizes their continued use. Democrats voted 213-0 for it. Republicans voted 203-7 against it.

That partisan split is not the story.

That pattern is hardly unique to Trump. Members of Congress have often interpreted presidential war powers more generously when the president belongs to their own party and more narrowly when he does not.

(California Globe) Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass left the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority Commission last week, citing time constraints, and refused a House summons the following Tuesday for a hearing titled “Fixing Fraud and Failure in Federally Funded Homelessness Services.”

On Wednesday, the Justice Department unsealed fraud charges against nonprofit operators who drew tens of millions through that agency, including more than $75 million LAHSA paid one contractor now accused of turning homeless-housing invoices into a nightclub.

HUD Secretary Scott Turner put the larger number on the table in a Fox News interview the same day. “LAHSA has received $1 billion—and I want everybody to hear this. A billion dollars of taxpayer money over 5 years with zero results,” Turner told Fox’s Matt Finn. “There’s no business in America that is ran that way or that would be sustained. Your own personal family budget cannot be ran that way and sustained.”

At the GOP convention in Dallas last week, he said it was unfair to call all Democrats sinners and all Republicans saints, but he noted a distinction.

“There's a difference between falling into sin and being an advocate for sin. And ladies and gentlemen, the Democrat Party is an advocate for evil. They are advocates for sin,” Jeffress stated.

He said Jesus, by contrast, taught that there are two genders and that he himself is the Way, the Truth, and the Light, and cited scripture for every claim.

(Daily Signal) The largest terror attack in history and the deadliest attack on the United States since Pearl Harbor occurred 25 years ago on Sept. 11, 2001. In 2026, with a whole new generation who were either too young to remember the attacks or were born after they occurred, it is worth pausing to reflect as a society on the events of that day, lest we lose the sense of just how horrible it truly was and the lasting, generational effect they had on America.

This need is especially relevant as radical elements of the far left in the United States downplay the attacks or shift the blame, with left-wing influencer Hasan Piker going so far as to say, “America deserved 9/11.”  

Nineteen hijackers from the al-Qaeda terror group, including 15 from Saudi Arabia, two from the United Arab Emirates, one from Egypt, and one from Lebanon, and all motivated by radical Islamism and hatred of America and Western Civilization, seized control of four passenger airplanes and turned them into missiles.

(Harbinger's Daily) Today marks one year since Charlie Kirk’s murder.

I’m sure we can all remember where we were when we first heard the news—first that he was shot, then of his tragic death. It truly was one of the darkest days in recent American history.  

Charlie Kirk was a uniquely gifted communicator, using his platform to educate, challenge, and even preach the gospel. He was bold and fearless. Tragically, he was murdered in front of millions in cold blood. There is no getting away from that heartbreaking truth.

Conservatives lost a talented voice. Christians lost a faithful evangelist. But most painfully, his family lost a loving son, brother, father, and husband.

(Washington Stand) The Texas Board of Education is taking fire for approving new high school history lessons that describe the brand of Islam that inspired the 9/11 terror attacks as “radical” and the Islamic destruction of eastern Christian communities as “brutal.” The opponents of the curriculum want nothing more than a full rehabilitation of Islam, on par with Christianity. The Texas Board of Education is far more interested in students learning the truth.

Despite objections from several Democratic members and one Republican, the Board of Education approved the new history curriculum guidelines on Friday in an 8-4 vote. The rules take effect in the 2030-2031 school year.

Under the new guidelines, Texas U.S. History curriculum will teach high school students to “identify the significance of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks motivated by radical Islam, including the roles of George W. Bush, Colin Powell, and Condoleezza Rice; the launch of the Global War on Terror in Afghanistan and Iraq; and the decline of civil liberties due to the PATRIOT Act.”

(The Federalist) Kellie Farina’s frustration was palpable, her disdain still fresh as she described her unyielding fellow juror. Farina said the man just didn’t get it. Despite all of the evidence (the toxicology report, the “expert” testimony, the “entertaining” defense attorney), he refused to join the 11 jury members who had long before agreed that Lindsay Clancy was not guilty of murdering her three young children.

The 11 angry men and women on the jury agreed that Clancy was legally insane when she used exercise bands to strangle to death Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months — one by one in the Clancy basement. She then attempted to take her own life. But after 40 hours of deliberations, the holdout wouldn’t budge.

(California Globe) Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass is leaving the commission that oversees the city’s lead homeless agency— the same board she appointed herself to, then rarely attended.

A mayoral spokesperson told reporters Tuesday that Bass would step off the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority Commission on Wednesday and name a replacement. The office did not say who would replace Bass.

As of Tuesday, LAHSA’s chief of staff said the agency had not been told she was leaving. Bass framed the exit as a matter of time. “I am going to be stepping down because I just—in terms of time and all,” she told KFI last week. She also said serving on the commission taught her that “the city needs to have its own system.”

Spokesman Ilanna Morales said Bass’s “first-hand experience at LAHSA reinforced her understanding that our current system is broken” and that City Hall is drafting a “city-led homelessness response.”

LAist reviewed commission records and found Bass skipped 13 of 21 LAHSA meetings in a recent 12-month span—well above the four-absence threshold that can trigger removal under the agency’s bylaws. Since she put herself on the 10-member board in late 2023, she missed 25 of 47 meetings.

(Washington Stand) A government cybersecurity advisory has revealed that several China-based AI companies are stealing artificial intelligence technology from American companies that pioneered the technology. Experts say the Trump administration must utilize commerce policies and sanctions to impose consequences on the Chinese entities involved in the theft.

On Tuesday, the FBI, the National Security Agency, and other federal agencies released a joint statement detailing how, since at least late 2024, Chinese AI companies like DeepSeek, Moonshot AI, Alibaba, MiniMax, StepFun, and Z.AI have been fabricating AI models by “distilling” answers received from millions of queries directed at leading American frontier models, including variants of Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Grok, “likely with Chinese government awareness.”

(The Federalist) All too often, officials in Washington, D.C., profess to believe in what is right and just. And all too often, many of those same individuals cower away when the time comes to stand by those convictions.

But the same cannot be said of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.

Since arriving at the high court in 1991, the second-longest serving justice in history has regularly brushed aside the dishonest slings from leftist haters to fulfill his oath to the Constitution and American people. In ruling after ruling, he has sought to uphold the law’s original meaning — regardless of whether it’s considered “popular” among D.C. “elites.”

It’s this profile in courage that is front and center in Ted Cruz’s newly released book, Going Further: The Incomparable Clarence Thomas.

(California Globe) A few weeks ago I sat down with Chloe Cole. She was 15 the first time a doctor put her on puberty blockers. By 16, she’d undergone a double mastectomy. She told me, plainly, that no one in the room, not her parents, not her doctors, not the school counselors who nudged her toward “transition,” ever slowed down long enough to ask if a confused, socially anxious teenage girl might need something other than a scalpel.

She’s since detransitioned. She’s also become one of the most effective advocates in the country for a simple idea: children cannot consent to procedures that permanently alter their bodies, and the adults who are supposed to protect them shouldn’t get a pass when they don’t.

And this isn’t a story from somewhere else. Chloe is from Manteca, California’s Central Valley, Northern California, same as us, and it was Kaiser Permanente that treated her. She’s currently suing Kaiser and the doctors involved in San Joaquin County Superior Court, and last September, the California Court of Appeal rejected Kaiser’s attempt to push her case into private arbitration, meaning it’s headed to a public trial, now scheduled for April 2027.

(Washington Stand) As overdose deaths and ruined lives pile up, there is growing outcry in the U.S. over the massive spread of intoxicating hemp and cannabinoid products, colloquially known as “gas station weed,” as well as highly potent “natural” opioids like kratom. Experts say the unregulated drugs must be reined in before the public health crisis widens further.

A slew of intoxicating drink, gummy, and vape products that contain the synthetic cannabinoid delta-8 THC, which is derived from the hemp plant, have been filling the shelves of gas stations, vape shops, and convenience stores since 2019. With names like Zexi, Crank Cannabis THC Shot, Keef Bubba Kush Root Beer, Trainwreck, and Blueberry Cookies, the products are advertised as “fast-acting” alcohol alternatives with “dialed-in dosing.”

But adverse health effects from the products have begun to multiply at blinding speed. U.S. Poison Centers have reported a 225% increase in delta-8 related exposure cases (9,360) since January 2021, with almost half involving accidental exposure to children.

(Washington Stand) The Year of the Democratic Socialists took another twist Tuesday when the House went on the offensive to paint Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries’s (D-N.Y.) party as a dangerous force of anti-Americanism. While the New Yorker has desperately tried to put some distance between Democrats and the DSA (somewhat unsuccessfully, others would add), the party’s drift toward mind-boggling radicalism is putting the entire country on edge.

The four-page resolution at the center of the House’s return to Washington this week “condemns and denounces socialism in all its forms, including the Democratic Socialists of America and opposes the implementation of socialist policies in the United States.” The brainchild of Rep. Jeff Crank (R-Colo.) spells out the wild ideas of the DSA, including abolishing prisons, ICE, the U.S. Senate, the Supreme Court, the Electoral College, and the presidency as we know it. Yet, despite those blaring red sirens, Jeffries’s rank-and-file are trying to dismiss the GOP’s concerns as “silly season.”

(Townhall) The Left insists that no one is pushing for Islamic Sharia law in America. Of course, that's just not true. In Minneapolis and elsewhere, businesses and governments are offering "Sharia-compliant" financial products to Muslims. If they're offering that to comply with Sharia law, where does it stop?

Schools are demanding all-Halal meals, California is about to make Islamic holidays part of the school calendar — despite Muslims being only one percent of the state population — and even Abdul El-Sayed said he's required to follow Sharia law until the day he dies.

Now an Islamic scholar in Chicago is saying Islam didn't come here to coexist with us. They came here to conquer us, and Sharia law is part of that.

(California Globe) It’s scary how easily certain information about you and your family can be found on the “dark web.” What’s worse is how quickly that information can potentially be used against you—for illicit charges, spam emails, identity theft, and who knows what else.

A new report revealed that a site on the dark web known as Nexus was recently offering citizens’ driver’s licenses for purchase, with more than 150 million records reportedly available. 150 million.

That’s absolutely terrifying. In fact, this could easily be considered one of the largest exposures of personal identification information I’ve seen yet. Imagine how much sensitive information could potentially be accessed from these records.

The information was first shared by independent journalist Brian Krebs, who discovered the service being advertised on a Russian cybercrime forum. For good measure, the site also allegedly included his actual Virginia driver’s license as a free sample.

“The record that features my driver’s license includes six image files – three pairs of photos of the license’s front and back, a basic image scan, as well as infrared and ultraviolet versions of the same images,” he noted.

(Washington Stand) It sounds like a plotline from an overly dramatized high school television show: a junior at Torrey Pines High School in southern California was involuntarily committed to a psychiatric hospital without cause, according to a federal lawsuit filed August 19. The student, identified in the lawsuit only by the initials M.F., says he and another student, A.F., faced months of retaliation for expressing conservative views at an anti-ICE protest on school property.

On February 6, 2026, students at the high school organized a walk-out during fourth period (12:40 p.m.). Eventually, so many students joined the walk-out that they left campus and followed a march route used by a “No Kings” protest, according to the student newspaper. The event, supposedly organized by high schoolers alone, without any school endorsement, even had police protection for its off-campus march.

(Townhall) For years, Americans have been told that concerns about noncitizens voting are a myth, a right-wing talking point unworthy of serious attention. However, California’s own Secretary of State and Attorney General have proven otherwise, not by admitting the state has no idea whether, or how often, it’s even happening, but because the state isn’t bothering to track it.

A few weeks ago, the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) submitted two California Public Records Act (CPRA) requests — one to the California Secretary of State and one to CA Attorney General Rob Bonta’s office — seeking records on how the state maintains the integrity of its voter rolls. The Attorney General’s office took an extension, ultimately responding on August 10.

The Secretary of State’s office responded first, but refused to provide any records responsive to our request. According to its answer, the statewide voter registration system simply “does not contain” a specific cancellation reason for non-citizenship.

(Townhall) California Gov. Gavin Newsom signed the unconstitutional assembly bill dubbed the "Stop Nick Shirley Act" into law a few days ago. That nickname isn't entirely accurate; the legislation was proposed long before Nick Shirley exposed corruption in the state, and targeted other independent journalists who have been reporting on California's corruption and Gavin Newsom for years.

But with his signature, the clock now begins to run, and all it's doing is counting down the minutes until a court blocks this legislation for violating the First Amendment. That will happen, of course, but until then any journalist who tries to do his or her job in California faces serious legal trouble, and the process is the punishment here.

But Carl DeMaio has announced that the fight against the "Stop Nick Shirley Act" is just getting started. DeMaio is a California Assemblyman from the 75th district, and he's going to put an end to this unconstitutional law.

(Life News) After an Idaho district court became the first federal court in the nation to “find” a new federal constitutional right to abortion post-Dobbs, Idaho Attorney General Raúl Labrador, serving alongside Alliance Defending Freedom attorneys, asked the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit Wednesday to allow the state to protect the lives of unborn children and women.

Just four years after the U.S. Supreme Court returned the issue of abortion to the people and their elected representatives, the district court ruled that Idaho can’t enforce its democratically enacted laws to protect unborn babies and their mothers. Attorneys explain that since the pro-life laws have been in effect, Idaho’s maternal mortality rate has plummeted.

But the district court’s ruling blows a hole in Idaho’s protection for life by allowing abortion doctors to decide—in their personal judgment—what maternal health risks are sufficient to terminate a baby. The district court even intimated that risk of a C-section would justify an abortion.

(Townhall) Two hundred and fifty years ago, our nation was founded on three defining principles: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. (The Post Millennial) A new report from Defending Education has revealed how institutions of higher education in the United States are working to implement diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) ideology into artificial intelligence before the use of AI becomes fully integrated into the education system in the US.Defending Education wrote, “The goal of these institutions of higher education is to implement DEI ideology into AI before it can be fully integrated into America’s education system. If DEI is embedded in AI before schools adopt these new tools, then DEI becomes institutionalized in the nation’s schools through AI once those tools are implemented.”

The organization found a number of colleges and universities that are undertaking this work, including the Massachusetts Institute of Technology; University of California, Berkeley; Columbia University; Virginia State University; and Morgan State University.

(The Post Millennial) Islamic organizers in the US are using tithing money from American Muslims to help finance the political campaigns of Muslim candidates.The Fiqh Council of North America recently issued a religious ruling (fatwa) allowing charitable giving and tithing known as “zakat” to be used for political purposes. The goal is reportedly to “empower” Muslim communities in the US and to fund campaigns supporting policies that oppose Israel and criminalize criticism of both the Prophet Muhammad and Islam.

The revelation is reportedly part of a broader effort by Muslim Americans to increase their political prominence and influence within American government. According to a report by RealClearInvestigations, Islamic organizers have worked to advance a potential political war chest of more than $140 million a year in mosque and other donations from Muslim Americans.

For too many kids and parents, school days are not wonderful, like Founding Father Noah Webster envisioned, and as too many parents and grandparents expect.

Nor does it teach the "Golden Rule."

CBS affiliate KOIN TV 6 in Portland, Oregon, is reporting, "Oregon’s largest school district is being sued by a parent hoping to challenge its policies and curriculum on gender identity."

(California Globe) Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass promised to end street homelessness. Instead, the latest numbers show her administration is delivering the opposite. According to the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority’s 2026 Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count, released in late July, the city’s overall homeless population rose 3.4 percent to 45,194 people. Even more damning, the unsheltered population (those living on sidewalks, in tents, vehicles, or makeshift shelters) jumped 7.9 percent to 29,115. Across LA County, the figure climbed 1.2 percent to 73,040.

These are not statistical blips. After two years of modest declines that Bass touted as historic progress, the trend has reversed. LAHSA attributes much of the increase to funding cuts that paused enrollments in Time Limited Subsidies, causing permanent housing placements to drop from roughly 28,600 in 2024 to 23,532 in 2025. Economic pressures and a chronic shortage of affordable units continue to push new people onto the streets faster than the system can absorb them. With those bottlenecks still in place and no meaningful course correction in sight, the next count is all but certain to paint an even bleaker picture.

(Harbinger's Daily) In the ongoing war for the hearts and minds of America’s children, the left has unveiled its newest and most brazen weapon yet: Parents are the “oppressors” and children must be “liberated” from the “oppression.”

Under the banner of “ethnic studies” and the new buzzword “adultism,” teacher training programs and classroom curricula across more than 22 states are systematically teaching that parental authority is a form of oppression—tyranny, fascism, even.

Loving mothers and fathers who set boundaries on clothing, relationships, sexual activity, or medical decisions involving their own children are literally being cast as oppressors. In typical Marxist style, the “oppressed” — the children — are being groomed to rebel.

This is not education, of course.  It is psychological warfare designed to drive a wedge between children and the parents God gave them.

(Washington Stand) A coalition of parents in northern California has sued the Palo Alto Unified School District for a high school field trip to a mosque in the fall of 2025. “Students allegedly were encouraged to wear Islamic religious attire, were given Qurans, observed prayer, engaged with participants in a Quran-memorization program, and were exposed to messaging that portrayed Islam as uniquely aligned with social justice work,” the August 7 complaint declares. Strikingly, not a single family involved in the lawsuit is Christian.

The field trip took place as part of Palo Alto High School’s “Social Justice Pathway,” a three-year course track for sophomores through seniors. The program just happens to share its initials (SJP) with Students for Justice in Palestine, a college organization expelled from some campuses for its extreme pro-Hamas demonstrations in 2024.

(Gadget Review) A chatbot-generated summary, complete with timestamp, got pasted directly into the public record of an NDAA amendment process by a staffer in Rep. Anna Paulina Luna’s office. Nobody stopped it. Nobody was disciplined. According to the Washington Post, almost nobody was surprised.

That context anchors where Congress actually stands on artificial intelligence.

AI tools including ChatGPT, Claude, and Grok are already handling congressional work — speeches, mail sorting, hearing prep, and amendment drafting — across both chambers.

The House didn’t stumble into this quietly. It purchased 6,000 Microsoft Copilot licenses and actively encouraged staff adoption. Luna told the Washington Post that tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Grok are commonly used, and she didn’t view AI-generated summaries as illegal.

(Harbinger's Daily) I recently watched a minister online. He gave a scathing critique of those who dare call out purveyors of false doctrine. He said we should love our fellow Christians. Paradoxically, he criticized those who criticize others. He seemed intent on inoculating his followers — making them immune to charges of false doctrine against his friends and himself.

In one sense, the attack seemed pious. Don’t criticize. Be loving. Be sweet. But Jesus ran the money changers out of the temple. In Revelation 2:6, He expressed disdain for the deeds of the Nicolaitans. In Matthew 7:15-16, Jesus said, “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits.”

In Matthew 24, He repeatedly warned that deceptive men will come as the end of the age approaches — false prophets and even false christs. Some will perform wonders and use the Lord’s name to bolster their own credibility. He said in verse 24, “False christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.”

(Washington Stand) The trend of Democratic Senate candidates who openly talk about religion continues to spread, reaching from Texas to Kansas and all the way to Michigan. But the schtick may prove no less successful than Tim Walz and Graham Platner (as examples of rugged masculinity) at connecting with Middle America. A leftist with a Christian accent is still a leftist.

The latest candidate to embrace the religious routine is Abdul El-Sayed, a Muslim candidate in Michigan whose policies largely align with the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), fresh off his Democratic primary victory for U.S. Senate on August 4. El-Sayed is making headlines for a podcast interview earlier this summer in which he allegedly compared himself to Jesus.

In a May 29 episode of “The Progressive Christians” podcast, El-Sayed was asked to respond to critics who called his ideas too radical. “Jesus, peace and blessings be upon him, was considered radical in his time too,” he replied.

(Washington Stand) Over the last 50 years, trust in the federal government has declined dramatically. About 77% of Americans once said they trusted the government. Today, that number has fallen to roughly 18%.

Events this week on Capitol Hill provided fresh examples of why trust in the federal government has eroded.

In the Senate Homeland Security Committee, the alleged architect of America’s draconian COVID-19 policies, Anthony Fauci, invoked his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination more than 100 times. He refused to answer questions about the origins of the pandemic, efforts to suppress those who pointed to the Wuhan Institute of Virology as the likely source of the virus, funding for gain-of-function research, and COVID policies that closed businesses, schools, and churches while mandating vaccines. Fauci invoked the Fifth even though former President Joe Biden granted him a preemptive pardon, a fact that raises questions of its own.

(Faith & Freedom) Kevin McCollough, writing for Town Hall yesterday, said, "In 30 days, this country marks 25 years since 19 men murdered nearly 3,000 of us on a Tuesday morning that started like any other."

"A quarter century. Long enough that some of the people reading this column weren’t alive for it. Long enough that the raw, unified grief of that September has faded into something more like a civic ritual — a moment of silence, a name-reading, a flag at half-staff, and then back to whatever we were doing," he reminded his readers.

We'd better take a serious look at what is happening in our beloved country now. Twenty-five years later.

(The Post Millennial) The Trump administration on Tuesday revealed that it is ending the use of federal Medicaid and Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) funding for sex-change surgeries and procedures for minors. The final rule unveiled by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) will go into effect on October 13.

Trump announced, “Today, at my direction, Dr. Mehmet Oz announced that Medicaid will NO LONGER fund gender transition surgeries and hormones for minors. We are not going to pay for our innocent children to undergo these barbaric surgeries and practices, which result in unthinkable and irreversible harm to their young bodies,” Trump wrote.

“Thanks to our strong position and pressure on this issue over the past year and a half, dozens of US hospitals have already ended this so-called ‘gender-affirming care,’ and we expect many more to follow. Just think about all of the young, innocent, and perhaps confused children who will be spared!

(California Globe) Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. delivered a blistering indictment of his predecessor, Xavier Becerra, on Tuesday, accusing the former Biden administration official of systematically dismantling the agency’s program integrity staff and opening the floodgates to massive taxpayer fraud.

Speaking at a White House Task Force to Eliminate Fraud press conference in Los Angeles focused on the city’s homelessness response, Kennedy detailed how Becerra reduced the number of personnel overseeing HHS’s $2.2 trillion in annual payments from 80 to just six.

“When I came in, there’s only six people who are in charge of all program integrity for my department!” Kennedy said. “My predecessor, Xavier Becerra, when he came into my agency, there were only 80 people in program integrity, 80 people. This is for 50 states and five territories.These are the people who are monitoring $2.2 trillion dollars in payments annually from my agency!”

Kennedy emphasized the scale of the responsibility those few staffers carried. “We do four million transactions a day. There’s only 80 people looking at those. Xavier Becerra came in and transferred 76 of them out.”

(Life News) Planned Parenthood just announced a $47 million budget for their midterm election blitz. The ACLU is spending $25 million specifically to push pro-abortion propaganda. And, Reproductive Freedom for All (formerly NARAL) is spending $23.5 million.

That’s nearly $100 million, all aimed at one goal: flipping the U.S. Senate for Chuck Schumer, his pals at the DSA (Democratic Socialists of America), and the Abortion Lobby this November.

Last week we got proof their plan may be working.

A new poll out of Texas shows Democrat James Talarico jumping to a 5-point lead over Attorney General Ken Paxton in the race for U.S. Senate – his largest lead of the entire general election. This is a race that could decide who controls the Senate.

(Harbinger's Daily) This fall, Arizona State University is offering eight courses with words like witchcraft, magic, or the occult in the title. Meanwhile, one course will cover the bedrock faith of Western Civilization.

“Think about that for a moment,” writes Owen Anderson, who teaches philosophy and religion at the university, at The Blaze. “At one of the largest public universities in the country, students can choose from a small festival of courses on witchcraft, while Christianity receives [only] a single titled course.”

A quick web search reveals other major universities across the country are offering similar classes.

ASU might argue the courses fall under the classification of history and do not promote witchcraft and the occult. But at least one course syllabus does not bear that out.

(Washington Stand) America has a surprisingly long history debating marijuana. Long before Mexico prohibited the sale of the drug in the 1920s and the U.S. imposed a tax on the sale and possession in 1937, communities in both countries were raising the alarm on the ways recreational marijuana use was harming individuals and the public overall.

In the 1970s, the federal government classified it as a Schedule I drug under the newly minted Controlled Substances Act. At the same time, tobacco giant Philip Morris entered into an agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice to study the toxicity and carcinogenesis of inhaled marijuana without the public’s knowledge, and this information was forced into the light during the litigation of Big Tobacco in the late 1990s.

When a small handful of states began testing the waters by “legalizing” this federally illegal drug, President Obama opened the floodgates to mass commercialization in 2012 by announcing his administration would not enforce federal law. Since then, the carte blanche rescheduling of high-potency marijuana for therapeutic purposes by the Trump administration this past spring has only made a chaotic legal issue even more murky.

(California Globe) Assemblyman Carl DeMaio (R-San Diego) just announced that Liberal Judges have sided with California’s Corrupt Politicians to Try to Rig Election Against Prop 39’s Bipartisan Voter ID Initiative, after AG Rob Bonta issued a new ballot title to Proposition 39.

“Corrupt politicians are showing every voter why we need to enact Prop 39 to implement a bipartisan solution to Voter ID,” DeMaio said.

Thieves redistribute income. They take money from someone who has earned it and give it to somebody else — usually themselves. It is possible that the thief actually needs the money more than the person he stole it from; most thieves are poor for the simple reason that they’d rather steal than work for a living. But yes, the “poorer” person might truly obtain something he needs (“wants”) more than the “richer” person he robs. That’s common in human history.

(Harbinger's Daily) Bible prophecy is the one line of evidence God wrote down in advance so anyone could check it. About 28 percent of the Bible was prophecy when it was written, roughly 80 percent of it has already been fulfilled to the exact detail, and the fulfillment rate on everything past is 100 percent. That track record is what makes fulfilled prophecy the most compelling reason to trust that the Bible is from God.

I grew up completely unchurched and bought the world’s way of thinking hook, line, and sinker. I believed in evolution, thought the Bible was a book of fairy tales, and did not believe Jesus was even a historical figure. All of this as a young teenager.

Then I wound up in a Christian private school for three months, and things began to change. As I heard bits and pieces of the Biblical claims, I doubted them all, but I wrestled with them because some people I respected sincerely believed them. I could still explain most of it away in my head. But there was one thing I could not explain away: fulfilled prophecy.

(The Federalist) Socialist Abdul El-Sayed narrowly defeated Rep. Haley Stevens by roughly a point with nearly all votes counted in Michigan’s Democrat primary for U.S. Senate.

El-Sayed campaigned on things like Medicare for All, investing in “affordable” housing, and abolishing ICE. He previously called for defunding the police. His campaign website says he believes “in an economy built by and for working people.”

But the coalition that helped El-Sayed cinch the Democrat nomination is not the constituency his rhetoric implies he cares about. His victory was not the result of support from the low-income or rural voters or groups traditionally thought to constitute working-class communities (which his policies claim to focus on). Instead, younger, wealthier, and “educated” voters in college towns spurred his campaign to victory.

(Life News) Not sure if even the classic horror movies went this far, but three doctors are pushing a plan that would kill people by taking their organs for transplant.

Of course it would be all right because the victims would have requested euthanasia anyway.

A report from LifesiteNews said the doctors, from Canada where euthanasia is routinely imposed and commonly recommended as a health care treatment, wrote a paper, “Contextualizing the dead donor rule in an era of voluntary euthanasia,” in the New England Journal of Medicine.

It is Drs. Ian Ball, Carter Winberg and Robert Truog who said, “In death by organ donation, the patient’s authorization, experience, and outcome are not altered by whether death occurs moments before or during organ retrieval.”

(Washington Stand) France’s recent social media ban for minors under 15 has reignited the conversation of whether the U.S. should follow suit. America’s hesitancy is surprising from the perspective of someone who was that age not too long ago.

The debate surrounding a ban on social media has largely moved past questioning whether social platforms are positive, negative, or neutral tools. Studies abound demonstrating the addictive properties of social media and their correlation to sleeplessness, self-image issues, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts — especially among minors. The surgeon general even issued a statement recommending health warnings on social media platforms, akin to those required for tobacco companies, and limiting minors’ access. By 2026, most people don’t need convincing that social media has its problems.

(Harbinger's Daily) Deeply controversial Artificial Intelligence systems will be making more decisions about “child welfare” across America as technocratic governance expands; at least if the scheme is not stopped. With child welfare bureaucracies already out of control and under fire, critics are sounding the alarm.

As has become typical with these sorts of intrusions, the feds are key players. In this case, the federal government is once again dangling taxpayer dollars in front of the state governments to get compliance. The goal: inject AI and predictive analytics deeper into America’s already bloated and destructive “child welfare” apparatus.

The Department of Health and Human Services, through its Administration for Children and Families, is offering $6 million in grants so states, territories, and tribal governments can pilot predictive risk-modeling tools. These AI systems will supposedly help case workers decide which children are in danger, and which families can be left alone.

(Dr. James Dobson) The November elections are now less than 100 days away. While this isn’t a presidential election year, these races are incredibly important nonetheless. All 435 members of the House of Representatives are on the ballot, along with 35 of the 100 senators, 36 governors, and more than 6,000 state legislators.

Whoever prevails at the polls will have a huge impact on faith, family, and freedom—the things Dr. James Dobson and I fought side by side to defend. (Life News) Americans have been so busy fighting against radical gender ideology and critical race theory in schools that one of the Left’s favorite ways to undermine parents has fallen under the radar. But the Trump administration hasn’t lost sight of graphic sex education, and parents everywhere should be grateful for it. In a very underreported move, the president’s team went on the offensive this summer, zeroing out millions of taxpayer dollars for controversial “Teen Pregnancy Prevention” programs in favor of solid curriculum that emphasizes abstinence and marriage.

The New York Times picked up on the cuts weeks after the fact in a sob story lamenting how caught off guard local nonprofits had been by HHS’s announcement. But frankly, no one should be surprised. The Trump administration slashed dozens of grants like this in its first term, arguing — rightly — that they only existed to sexualize children, not equip them to make positive and healthy choices.

(Harbinger's Daily) We live in the most informed generation in human history, yet many would argue we are also the most confused. Never before has so much information been available with just the touch of a screen. Every minute, millions of videos are uploaded, articles are published, opinions are shared, and headlines race around the world before most people have even finished breakfast.

Ironically, as information has exploded, confidence in what is actually true has steadily declined.

That presents a serious problem, not merely for society, but for every follower of Jesus Christ.

The battle for truth has become one of the defining spiritual conflicts of our generation.

(Washington Stand) The WBNA’s Seattle Storm fined its own co-owner, Celeste Keaton, and suspended her from attending the next five home games after Keaton confronted and cursed at teenage fans of a visiting team’s player on Tuesday. The fans cheered Indiana Fever’s Sophie Cunningham with a courtside sign reading, “Thank you, Sophie, for speaking up for girls.” Cunningham said last week, “young girls in sport … shouldn’t have to go against biological men.” For one owner of a female sports team, even the idea of teenage girls endorsing this message was too much to handle.

“We hadn’t said anything to anyone else, we were being super respectful, we were just holding our signs and cheering for both teams, and this lady comes up to us,” one of the girls told independent journalist Brandi Kruse. The girls did not know Keaton, nor did they learn that she was a co-owner of the Seattle Storm until later.

(PJ Media) The nausea-inducing revelations from Anthony Fauci‘s daily logs during his time as director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases just keep coming in.

The Association of American Physicians highlighted the entry from Aug. 13, 2022. Note the date—this is long after the first round of COVID vaccines and mandates, and long after we should’ve had any COVID-19 restrictions at all. In that entry, Fauci complained about having to prevent the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) from admitting that the shots were not all that effective at preventing transmission of the virus, saying that he didn’t want this to get out because it would undermine the justifications for mandates and confidence in the upcoming boosters. What he did not explain is why it was so important to have the mandates and the boosters if they were not in fact effective at saving lives. He did, however, describe the truth as "damning."

Democrats hate voters, hate the people, and no longer work for them. Why do California’s Democrat lawmakers hate the people who live in the state and who pay the exorbitant taxes and lawmakers’ salaries?

Earlier this week, the Globe reported California’s Democrat Lawmakers Must Want Crime, Drugs and Homelessness to Increase. Democrats are pushing a bill that creates a pretrial diversion program for retail theft (rather than prosecution), for shoplifting, forgery, and vandalism, allowing the offender’s record to be wiped clean after completion, undermining Proposition 36. California voters overwhelmingly approved Prop 36 in 2024 to restore felony penalties for repeat theft and drug crimes. Prop 36 passed by 68%, and notably, passed in every one of California’s 58 counties. That’s a mandate.

(Washington Stand) Teens are more likely to receive a transgender-related diagnosis than Type 2 diabetes in the state of Oregon, a recent report found. The Beaver State also classifies the hormones and surgeries that come with attempting a gender transition as “medically necessary” for these teenagers, The Wall Street Journal notes.

WSJ reported that according to the study, published in Research Connections, “at age 17, roughly 1 in every 240 girls and 1 in every 630 boys in Oregon received cross-sex hormones for ‘gender dysphoria’ between 2016 and 2023. These figures,” Leor Sapir and Paul Terdal observe, “are triple and double the national average for girls and boys, respectively. For younger children the disparity is even greater: Cross-sex hormone use in the study was four to five times the national rate among 14- and 15-year-olds, and puberty-blocker use was more than five times the national rate at age 14.”

(California Globe) California Attorney General Rob Bonta faces accusations of rigging the ballot language for Proposition 39, the Voter Identification, Citizenship Verification, and Registered Voter List Administration Initiative, just months before the November 2026 election.

The initiative, which gathered over a million signatures from Democrats, Republicans, and Independents after more than a year of petition circulation under previously approved wording, now faces what opponents call a last-minute rewrite designed to tilt public perception against it.

To note, California law explicitly states that “in providing the ballot title and summary, the Attorney General is required to give a true and impartial statement of the purpose of the measure in such language that the ballot title and summary is neither an argument, nor likely to create prejudice, for or against the proposed measure. The Attorney General is required to invite and consider public comment in preparing each ballot title and summary.”

(Harbinger's Daily) America’s celebration of birth since 1776 was spectacular, our independence from mother England 250 years previous having been a painful and bloody one, to say the least. That separation, however, wasn’t one of merely exerting cleavage from an empire determined to rule over the colonies. That is, there has been a much more profound leverage than a revolutionary spirit at work in producing that schism than just the colonists’ desire to break free of overbearing bondage.

America’s founding fathers—that is, a majority of them—recognized the nature of the profound leverage they were allowed to apply in order to burst free from the most powerful military on the planet at the time. It was providential leverage that most of them acknowledged as the intervening force that birthed this nation.

George Washington said on a number of occasions following the War of Independence that he felt the hand of the Almighty on him.

(PJ Media) The ideological excesses of the American Left are becoming increasingly difficult to ignore.

Political commentator Hasan Piker recently appeared in a Mao jacket — a conspicuous tribute to the Chinese dictator whose regime was responsible for the deaths of tens of millions of people — before addressing college students. Around the same time, Melat Kiros, a Democratic Socialists of America candidate in Colorado, declared that America would stop "exploiting the world" only after the country elects enough immigrants from the Global South.

That is more than a campaign slogan. It reflects an ideology that seeks to replace America's founding principles with an entirely different worldview.

The philosophy has a name: third-worldism. At its core is the belief that Western civilization is uniquely oppressive and that America can only redeem itself by surrendering cultural and political authority to those viewed as its historical victims. Variations of this worldview have gained traction on college campuses, within the DSA and among activist movements across the country.

(Washington Stand) When Donald Trump’s pick to run the Justice Department promised to take action against the dark forces behind the abortion pill explosion, he probably didn’t expect to start anytime soon. That all changed Thursday when Senator Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) pulled back the curtain on a sinister underground network trying to pump mifepristone into all 50 states. Plan C, an under-the-radar organization that’s coaching people to break the law, has been a one-stop shop, helping women (and predatory men) get their hands on a drug that seriously hurts almost 11% of the moms who take it. This criminal operation, Hawley demanded, needs to stop.

Although most Americans have never heard of Plan C, the group has been around since 2015, quietly devising ways to bypass the law and, in their words, “normalize[e] the self-directed option of abortion pills by mail.”

(Harbinger's Daily) A significant pro-life legal battle is unfolding in Missouri, and it demonstrates exactly what’s at stake when an abortion amendment is approved and added to a state constitution.

At issue is whether states may continue to enforce longstanding health and safety regulations governing abortionists or whether those legal protections will be deemed unconstitutional under adopted state constitutional language.

In 2024, Missouri approved Amendment 3, which enshrined abortion in the state constitution. Following its passage, Planned Parenthood filed a legal challenge to invalidate numerous statutes governing abortion.

(Post Millennial) President Donald Trump on Thursday released a trove of previously classified intelligence documents that he said expose longstanding vulnerabilities in America's election infrastructure with files beginning to be released on Thursday, including allegations that China obtained 220 million US voter records and that foreign adversaries have the capability to compromise election systems.

(Washington Stand) In John 17, Jesus prayed that His followers would be sanctified — set apart — by God’s truth. Throughout history, that truth has distinguished those who embrace it from those who reject it. Today, that separation is increasingly evident in America.

A Washington Post article this week, entitled “Trans people are fleeing red states for Seattle. The city can’t keep up,” cited a NORC poll suggesting that 400,000 transgender adults left red states in the six months following the 2024 election, with another 1.2 million reportedly considering relocating to states that actively affirm transgender policies.

The article highlights Crow Harmony, a 21-year-old transgender male, and his boyfriend, who had also transitioned. If you’re confused about what that makes them, you’re not alone, but just put that aside. The article goes on to say that this “couple” had no money, no employment prospects, and had lost their housing before leaving Florida for what they believed would be the safety of Seattle.

(Harbinger's Daily) As America passed the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, many were asking an important question: What has become of the American Dream?

To mark this historic milestone, Elon University in North Carolina conducted a nationwide survey examining how Americans view their nation, its government, and its future. Polls can fluctuate with current events and political climates, but they often reveal something deeper: the hopes, fears, and convictions of ordinary citizens.

This survey paints a sobering picture. Nearly 69% of Americans believe the signers of the Declaration of Independence would feel more disappointment than pride in modern American democracy. Likewise, 68% believe today’s elected officials compare unfavorably with the leaders of earlier generations. Those are striking numbers, not surprising but still eye-opening.

(The Post Millennial) Virginia State Sen. Saddam Azlan Salim (D-Fairfax) has introduced Senate Bill 624, legislation that would define “Islamophobia” within Virginia’s assault laws and require law enforcement to track crimes allegedly motivated by anti-Islam bias. The bill would amend Virginia’s existing assault statute to recognize Islamophobia as “malicious prejudice or hatred directed toward Islam."

The legislation would also direct the Virginia State Police, with directions from the Office of the Attorney General and the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, to incorporate the definition of Islamophobia into the state's hate crime reporting wing. Supporters of the law say the change would help police more accurately identify and classify bias-motivated offenses against Muslims and those perceived to be Muslim.

(Washington Stand) Most great institutions are less vulnerable to the dangers of external assault than they are to crumbling from within. So it proves to be with the current Democratic Party, which runs an infinitesimal risk of being broken by its political opponents, but a much more serious risk of being broken by its own internal dissenters — or, more accurately, revolutionaries. The Democratic “establishment” understands this problem, but that does not mean it has the solution.

The problem was evident in the New York Democratic primaries last month, when candidates affiliated with the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) and endorsed by left-wing Mayor Zohran Mamdani upset several incumbents in safe seats to expand the far-Left cohort in Washington. NYC-DSA co-chair Gustavo Gordillo explained in an interview that the DSA doesn’t “agree” with “the way the Democratic Party establishment organizes or runs its party apparatus” and plans to organize its own subversive architecture from within.

The modern criminal no longer kicks down the front door. He logs onto a government website, steals someone else's identity — or even that of a deceased person — then creates a ghost student who never intends to attend class but collects thousands of dollars in federal financial aid, and disappears before the semester begins.

No shattered windows. No getaway car. No fingerprints. Just another transfer of taxpayer money from honest work to organized fraud.

The No Aid for Ghost Students Act of 2026, recently passed by the House of Representatives but awaiting final enactment, has received little public attention. That is unfortunate because it raises a far bigger question than student aid:

Does America still possess the moral confidence to defend what belongs to everyone?

American teachers and teachers unions have failed children. Teachers unions have become the biggest school bullies, sacrificing school children on the altar of power and control.

How did California’s public education system go from best in the United States to one of the worst? How did the classical Liberal Arts education, once made up of rigorous disciplines from the natural sciences to the fine arts, get sidelined by textbooks and course materials that include multiple perspectives and diverse representation from varied racial, ethnic, sex, gender, sexuality, SES, religion, age, and abilities perspectives (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion practices), as opposed to core curriculum of the seven Liberal Arts: Grammar, Logic, Rhetoric, Arithmetic, Astronomy, Music, and Geometry.

Teachers used to teach Liberal Arts disciplines enthusiastically. Now too many indoctrinate.

(Harbinger's Daily) Despite the recent Supreme Court ruling in favor of girl-only sports, California will continue to allow “transgender”-identified male athletes to compete in girls and women’s sports.

According to Fox News Digital, a spokesperson for Governor Gavin Newsom said that “the Supreme Court ruling will not impact California’s current setup.”

Reporter Jackson Thompson posted on X about the governor’s office’s response to the Supreme Court’s ruling in State of West Virginia v. BPJ that states are allowed to protect girls and women’s sports with laws that keep sports separate based on biology.

But the Court’s ruling did not overturn state laws that allow boys to compete on the basis of “gender identity,” a spurious, completely subjective individual and social construct.

(Washington Stand) Pro-life organization Heartbeat International (HBI) is on trial in a California court for daring to inform women that the effects of the abortion pill can sometimes be reversed. “Heartbeat International is fighting for one thing: The ability to tell women the truth when they call seeking help after taking the first abortion pill and regretting their decision,” HBI general counsel Danielle White said in a statement to The Washington Stand. “Women deserve to know all of their options. They don’t lose that right after beginning a chemical abortion.”

In 2023, California Attorney General Rob Bonta (D) sued HBI and pro-life pregnancy center RealOptions in Alameda County Court for “advertising Abortion Pill Reversal as safe and effective.” Bonta asked the court to impose a penalty of more than $20 million against HBI and $600,000 against RealOptions, which would amount to a financial death sentence for the nonprofits.

(The Post Millennial) The Department of Justice has sent Washington Secretary of State Steve Hobbs a new letter warning state and local election officials that they could face criminal liability if they knowingly retain noncitizens on voter rolls or facilitate illegal ballots.

The July 7 letter from Assistant Attorney General Harmeet K. Dhillon, who leads the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division, was addressed to Hobbs as Washington’s chief election officer and titled, “The State of Washington’s Compliance with Federal Law Governing Voter Eligibility.”

(Harbinger's Daily) The Bible uses strong language to describe any form of compromise with worldly thinking. And it doesn’t just apply to the ancient Israelites.

Hosea 4:12 says, “My people ask counsel from their wooden idols, and their [wooden] staff informs them. For the spirit of harlotry has caused them to stray, and they have played the harlot against their God.”

Hosea used strong language against his fellow Israelites, calling them harlots because they had violated their vows to remain faithful to the one true God. Is it possible that Christians today, and particularly Christian leaders—in their zeal to make Christianity more enticing—are actually “playing the harlot,” too? Here is what I mean.

Born-again Christians who love the Lord, preach the gospel, and insist on the inerrancy of Scriptures are saddened when they read how the Israelites compromised God’s Word as they embraced more and more pagan beliefs (including idolatry) from the nations around them.

(Harbinger's Daily) In July 1776, none of us were alive when the Founding Fathers declared America independent from British rule. Contemporary and secular scholars often overlook the fact that they were steeped in a Judeo-Christian worldview. But the United States was clearly established as a nation that recognized “Nature’s God” as the author of our liberties and worthy of our praise.

I was alive in 1976, when America celebrated its bicentennial. A collection of national treasures (or at least their replicas) came to my school—undoubtedly one of many such traveling museums. Even then, the “Spirit of ’76” was a slogan that rang with patriotism and appreciation.

Now, just fifty years later, many in our own country would rather denounce than celebrate our national heritage.

(Harbinger's Daily) It is a word used over and over again in the Bible: “remember.” At least 172 times throughout the Old and New Testaments, God calls on His people to remember all the great things He has done and the blessings He has given them. He also calls His people to remember the times when they did not obey Him, when they veered off course, became complacent, turned away from Him, and faced horrible consequences as a result.

We are at a point in history, in America and throughout Western civilization, where it has never been more important to heed that Biblical call to “remember.” Across the Western world, we’re seeing lessons from history ignored.

Look at New York City. Just 25 years after Islamic jihadists carried out the worst terrorist attack in American history, the people of New York elected a pro-Hamas, antisemitic Islamist as mayor.

(California Globe) AB 2691 by Assemblywoman Dawn Addis (D-San Luis Obispo) prohibits persons convicted of “sexual assault” and “human trafficking” from running for any state or local elective office in California. It’s a good bill, with good intent… or was.

Recent amendments made on June 24, 2026, added in exemptions for pedophile adults who target children for sex.

The bill was heard in the Senate Elections Committee Tuesday morning (see below).

What no longer counts as “sexual assault” under this Elections code was amended in the bill above (AB 2691). Prior to Tuesday’s Senate hearing, the amendments were made at the request of Senator Scott Wiener (D-San Francisco) who is the Committee Chairman of the Senate Elections Committee, according to the California Family Council.

(Washington Stand) Less than five years after the end of the Second World War, as the communist Soviet Union rapidly consolidated its control over much of central and Eastern Europe, Senator Joseph McCarthy (R-Wis.) introduced a shocking claim: Anywhere from 50 to more than 200 communist agents were working in the U.S. government, covertly advancing the agenda of international communism and subverting American culture and society.

“The State Department is infested with communists,” McCarthy is reported to have said, speaking at a Republican fundraising event in February of 1950. The senator produced a piece of paper which he said contained the names of known communists in the employ of then-president Harry Truman’s State Department. There is no audio or video recording of the speech and there is some dispute over whether McCarthy alleged that there 57 communists in the State Department or 205; many of those present reported that McCarthy said “205,” although others report that he said “57,” which is the number McCarthy cited both in communications to Truman and in the congressional record.

(PJ Media) Idaho has decided the death penalty shouldn't depend on a drug company, a missing vein, or a supply chain nobody wants to talk about.

As of Wednesday, the state has now made the firing squad its primary method of execution. Lethal injection remains available as a backup, but Idaho has moved the rifle ahead of the needle because the old system has become slow, fragile, and legally tangled. The state spent more than $1 million on the project, including rifles for volunteer marksmen.

The move comes as states continue searching for alternatives after repeated problems with lethal injection and recent legal challenges involving nitrogen gas executions.

Idaho is now one of seven states that authorize firing squads under some circumstances, with state officials saying the method provides a reliable means of carrying out death sentences.

(Washington Stand) Same-sex marriage is not following expected cultural trends. Eleven years after the Supreme Court legalized it nationwide by judicial fiat, public support for the practice appears to be suffering an about-face. As Family Research Council President Tony Perkins observed last week on this trend, “major social changes have historically become more accepted over time, not less.” But not for same-sex marriage — not anymore.

According to a Gallup poll released earlier this month, support for same-sex marriage has dropped six percentage points since 2022 and 2023, although it remains at an elevated 65%. Most Democrats (87%) still support same-sex marriage. But support has stumbled among Republicans, falling from 55% to 37% in just four years, and support is down among Independents, too.

(Townhall) The Left pretends Antifa isn't a real thing, ignoring the very real violence and property damage done in the name of the organization. The Trump administration has declared Antifa a terrorist organization, both domestically and internationally. Back in March, several members of Antifa were convicted of numerous crimes stemming from an ambush at an ICE facility in Texas that saw one law enforcement officer shot.

They were recently sentenced to a combined 450 years behind bars. Their violent comrades are not happy about this, and are now threatening the federal judges who sentenced them.

(Daily Signal) The Democratic Party and the Democratic Socialists of America are becoming indistinguishable from one another.

That’s clearly the case in New York City, as a wave of socialist House candidates backed by openly socialist Mayor Zohran Mamdani won primary elections on Tuesday against incumbent Democrats.

In some cases, both leading candidates were quite far to the Left, but Democrat primary voters simply voted for the one who was more fervently anti-Israel—which is absolutely becoming the biggest litmus test in Democratic Party primary fights.

One of Tuesday night’s victors in a House primary election, Darializa Avila Chevalier, is truly off the deep end in every way. Chevalier backs full prison abolition, which she is unable to defend coherently, though still fervently supports it. She’s opposed to deporting any illegal aliens, even rapists and murderers.

Oh, and she founded a college campus organization that’s mostly committed to rabidly hating Israel, but also in favor of “fighting for the total eradication of Western civilization.”

(Washington Stand) Federal law enforcement and prosecutors are revealing that rampant fraud is plaguing the entirety of the U.S. — not just cities like Minneapolis or Los Angeles. The Department of Justice (DOJ) announced at a press conference Tuesday that it has charged more than 450 individuals across 45 states for defrauding taxpayer-funded health care programs of approximately $6.5 billion.

“This announcement marks the greatest combined federal and state effort in combating health care fraud in history,” acting Attorney General Todd Blanche asserted. “This team is working tirelessly to take down fraudsters who steal from taxpayer-funded programs and prey on vulnerable Americans.”

According to Blanche, the White House Task Force to Eliminate Fraud and the DOJ have been joined by multiple executive branch agencies and 41 state attorneys general to tackle crippling fraud across the country.
