I support voter identification requirements because I believe we should do everything we reasonably can to protect the integrity and security of our elections. At the same time, I want to make sure we are not creating unnecessary barriers for eligible voters. If photo identification is required, it should be accessible and available at no cost to those who need it. We can protect the integrity of our elections while making sure every eligible voter has a fair opportunity to participate. To me, election security and access to the ballot should go hand in hand.

It is important that the election process be protected; therefore, although I feel it is everyone's right to cast a ballot, those ballots should be cast with government issued photo identification.

I believe the Second Amendment protects the right of law-abiding Americans to own firearms for lawful purposes, including self-defense. I also believe responsible gun ownership is important. I support reasonable measures such as background checks and safe-storage requirements that help keep firearms away from people who are legally prohibited from possessing them, while respecting the rights of law-abiding gun owners.

I fully support the Second Amendment and law-abiding citizens' right to bear arms. Because Ontario is a council-manager city, our focus is on community safety. I support sensible, constitutional measures—like keeping guns out of the hands of violent offenders—while ensuring local laws strictly align with state and federal legal standards.

I do not support allowing recreational marijuana dispensaries in Ontario. I respect that recreational marijuana is legal under California law, but I believe cities should have the ability to set standards that reflect the needs and values of their community. As Mayor, I would focus on public safety, protecting our families and neighborhoods, and maintaining the quality of life our residents expect.

If a measure were introduced and the citizens of Ontario voted in support of recreational marijuana dispensaries in our city, as mayor, I would seek strong limitation to minimize the amount of licenses granted, and these businesses would only be allowed to operate on the outskirts of the city if a plan could be developed to positively use tax revenue directly for residents.

I would look at cutting unnecessary spending and finding efficiencies before increasing taxes. I believe government should live within its means and be a good steward of taxpayers’ money. Before asking residents to pay more, I would want to review the budget carefully, eliminate waste, prioritize essential services, and look for ways to operate more efficiently. If a tax increase were ever considered, it should only be after those options have been fully explored and there is a clear need to protect essential services.

As a business owner and resident I cannot magically increase my funds to grow my business; therefore, I would move to cut spending in an effort to address a budget deficit.

I believe every child deserves the opportunity to be born into a safe, loving, and supportive environment. I also believe we should support women facing difficult circumstances with compassion and practical resources.

By ensuring the appropriate literature and counseling is made available to residents seeking abortions so these couples are aware of options they otherwise may not be knowledgeable about.

I respect the constitutional process and the rights of all Californians. As a person of faith, I believe marriage is a sacred institution between a man and a woman.

The voters of California made their voices heard on Proposition 3, and I respect the constitutional process and the decision of the electorate. As a candidate for mayor, my primary focus is not on national or state social debates, but on the immediate, practical needs of our municipality. Our city faces pressing, everyday challenges that affect every single resident—such as lowering the cost of living, fixing local infrastructure, improving public safety, and ensuring balanced city budgets. My commitment is to manage our city government efficiently, responsibly, and fairly.

I support continuing the tradition of opening City Council meetings with an invocation or prayer.
