School Library Content

What is your position on removing books and materials that contain pervasive vulgarity or explicit sexual content from school libraries?
I support removing books and materials containing pervasive vulgarity or explicit sexual content that is inappropriate for students, while preserving age-appropriate materials that address legitimate scientific or medical topics.

Restrooms & Locker Rooms

What is your position on allowing students to access restrooms, locker rooms, and showers based on gender identity or expression?
I support teaching biological sex accurately, that boys are male and girls are female therefore each deserve their own private rest rooms, locker rooms and showers no matter how they identify.

Girls' Sports

What is your position on allowing biological boys to participate in on girls' sports teams?
I oppose allowing biological boys to participate on the girls sports teams. The science is clear XX or XY and no way to change that.

School-Based Healthcare

What is your position on requiring that parents to be notified when their minor child uses school-based healthcare facilities or services?
I support parental notification and involvement when a minor receives healthcare services through a school

Parental Notification

What is your position on the constitutional right of parents' to be promptly notified by the school if their child requests or engages in a social gender transition such as a change of name, pronouns, or facility use while at school?
I believe parents have the primary responsibility for their children and should be promptly notified by the school if a minor requests or engages in a social gender transition, including changes to name, pronouns, or any type of facility use.

School Choice

What is your position on allowing education funds to follow a student based on a parents’ choice of education for their child?
I support allowing education funds to follow the student, giving parents greater choice in their child’s education and encouraging schools to compete for students through excellence and accountability.

Survey Opt-In

What is your position on requiring a parental opt-in for student surveys and questionnaires in schools?
I support requiring parental opt-in before students participate in school surveys or questionnaires, particularly when they involve personal, sensitive, or family-related information.

Abortion

The CA Constitution places no limits on abortion. How will you use your position to foster a culture that values babies and children in CA?
I believe every human life has inherent value and should be protected. In my position, I will support policies that protect children, strengthen families, and ensure every student is treated with dignity and respect.

Invocations

What is your position on the tradition of allowing invocations (prayers) at the beginning of school board meetings?
I support allowing voluntary invocations at the beginning of school board meetings, consistent with the Constitution and applicable law.
