California Congressional District 9

The United States of America is a Constitutional Republic, as such We The People are the rightful rulers. For us to rightly rule we must know that are elections are conducted with the utmost integrity. U.S. citizens and only U.S. citizens should be voting. Proof of citizenship and official government issued identification should be required for all elections. Elections should be conducted on one day and in one day, no 30+ days for our elections to be certified. Voter rolls should be purged every 10 years and we all should be required to re-register to vote. Our Founders believed voting was a sacred duty and our elections need to be held with the utmost integrity. In summary, I wholeheartedly support the 2026 SAVE America Act!

The 40+ Trillion dollar debt is not sustainable and its massive weight will crush future generations. Thomas Jefferson said charity should be no part of the national budget and we have gotten extremely far from that concept. Fraud and cronyism are that first things that must be eliminated. Wasteful spending also needs to eradicated from the budget. The bloated bureaucracy also needs to trimmed greatly. The challenge we face is as the French historian Alexis de Tocqueville stated "The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money." This bribing of the public through government spending is what keeps many in Congress in office and as such, they are not willing to make the necessary cuts for long term sustainability. The United States can no longer be the world's sugar daddy. We need to implement tariffs in a incremental approach to allow American manufacturing to once again have America pretty much self sustaining.

In Jeremiah 31:3, GOD is speaking to Jeremiah regarding Israel and HE says I have loved Israel with an everlasting love. Everlasting means just that everlasting. For this reason I believe the U.S. should continue to support Israel, though I do not feel it should be a blank check, like in every other government expenditure there needs to be an accounting for every dollar spent. I believe Israel has the right to exist as a sovereign nation and I do not believe a two State solution is viable. Every nation bordering Israel desires to see Israel wiped off the face of the earth from the "River to the Sea". Assisting Israel in protecting their borders by providing for the weapons and technology needed to defend themselves should be a priority, but only with limited engagement by our military and keeping "boots off the ground".

A nation without borders is not a nation. Our borders are pretty much closed under President Trump and many who have crossed our borders illegally are being deported. These are necessary steps in maintaining our sovereignty and protecting the rights and well being of American citizens. We are at a point in our nation where it may be time to put a temporary moratorium on all immigration until we can take care of our own citizens, especially our veterans.

I believe marriage is between one man and one woman and that is what GOD intended and desires. Science is clear a man has XY chromosomes and a woman has XX chromosomes. Unfortunately, marriage has become a social construct defined by the government and not a religious construct defined by GOD. Much of the blame can be placed on the Church for having lost its role in driving American culture.

I served on the Board of the Stockton Pregnancy Help Center for more than a decade, all but two as chairman of the board. We served to help women make the choice to keep their babies when encountering unplanned pregnancies. Additionally, my wife worked at the Center as a crisis counselor. This gives you a strong indication or my Pro-Life stance. When it comes to the abortion issue We The People cannot trust the courts to fight on behalf of the unborn child whether at the state or federal level. I firmly believe in the sanctity of human life at both ends of the age spectrum. Without a Constitutional amendment to ban all abortions, which unfortunately without Divine intervention is an extremely remote prospect. Everything we can do to reduce the incidence of abortion, especially criminalizing RU-84, must be undertaken, until a complete ban can be passed.

I am in agreement and thankful for the SCOTUS supporting the rights of parents to know about the gender issues of their children and the state has no right to interfere on such outlandish infringements on parental responsibilities. Government (schools) intrusions upon the rights and responsibilities of parents cannot be tolerated and must be protected to ensure that parent can their children in ways the parents believe to be best. Educational indoctrination and government oppressions of the family must end. The rights of the family must be protected. The entire transgender issue has gotten out of hand and it is time to see it for what it is: a mental health issue with strong spiritual underpinnings. Biological males should not be allowed to compete against women and girls, nor allowed in female restrooms/locker rooms, and certainly not place in women's correctional facilities.
