I support requiring proof of U.S. citizenship to register to vote in federal elections and requiring government issued photo identification when casting a ballot. Voting is one of the most fundamental rights and responsibilities of American citizenship, and I believe reasonable safeguards that verify both citizenship and identity strengthen public confidence in our elections. At the same time, any law should include a fair and practical process so that eligible American citizens who may lack standard documentation are not denied their right to vote.

The federal government cannot continue spending money it does not have and passing the debt on to our children and grandchildren. I believe Congress must return to fiscal discipline by eliminating waste, fraud, and unnecessary federal spending, requiring greater accountability from every federal agency, and prioritizing essential constitutional responsibilities. We should also pursue policies that grow our economy, strengthen American manufacturing and energy production, support small businesses, and expand the tax base through economic growth rather than continually raising taxes on working Americans. At the same time, we must honor our commitments to seniors, veterans, and those who have earned their benefits. As a member of Congress, I would approach the federal budget the same way families, businesses, and local governments must: establish priorities, live within our means, demand accountability for every taxpayer dollar, and begin putting America on a responsible path toward red

I strongly support the United States standing with Israel and defending Israel’s right to exist and protect its people. My support for Israel is not simply political; it is personal. When I started my computer networking company, members of the Jewish community welcomed me, trusted me with their businesses, and referred me to their friends and colleagues, including law firms that helped my company grow. I have never forgotten the kindness and confidence they showed me. As a Christian, I also recognize the deep biblical and historical significance of Israel and the Jewish people. Israel remains one of America’s most important allies in the Middle East, and I believe the United States must stand firmly against terrorism, antisemitism, and those who seek Israel’s destruction.

I support President Trump’s increased border security measures because I believe a sovereign nation must control its borders and because California, as a border state, directly experiences the consequences when the federal government fails to do so.

My Christian faith guides my position on marriage. I believe the Bible teaches that God established marriage as a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, and that is the definition of marriage I personally believe and uphold. At the same time, my faith also teaches me to love my neighbor and treat every person with dignity and respect, including those with whom I disagree. I can stand firmly on my biblical convictions without hatred or disrespect toward anyone.

I am prolife and believe that every human life is precious and deserves protection. This issue is also deeply personal to me. I was adopted when I was four years old, and I recognize that my own life could have been very different had my mother chosen abortion. Instead, I was given the opportunity to live, grow, have a family, serve my country, build a business, and serve my community. As a Christian, I believe life is a gift from God and that we have a responsibility to protect the unborn while also showing compassion and support for women facing difficult pregnancies. I support the Supreme Court’s decision in Dobbs to overturn Roe v. Wade and return this important issue to the people and their elected representatives. I will continue to stand for life, support adoption, and advocate for policies that help mothers choose life for their children.

I strongly support parental rights. Parents, not schools or government officials have the primary responsibility for raising, guiding, and making important decisions concerning their minor children. I do not believe a school should intentionally keep parents in the dark when their child is struggling with questions involving gender identity or other significant issues affecting their wellbeing. Parents need to know what is happening in their children’s lives so they can provide the love, guidance, counseling, and support their children need. Schools should work in partnership with parents, not replace them or deliberately exclude them. I therefore support the Supreme Court’s action protecting parental involvement in these deeply personal matters, while recognizing appropriate protections in situations where disclosure could place a child in genuine danger.
