As an instructor of the Constitution, I support this proposition and even worked to collect signatures. The right to vote is fundamental to our representative republic, and this privilege must be granted only to citizens.

Budget

I am disappointed in our current and past leadership for failing to adequately address this urgent matter. And I am disturbed by their insistence on continually increasing spending on matters that are not in the best interests of Californians and often in direct opposition to the will of the majority. As a business owner, I must balance my own budget each month; our state leaders should follow the same common-sense approach with our tax dollars. My goal is to attack waste, fraud, and abuse of citizens' resources. I do not believe we need to raise taxes if we simply reduce spending and make the most of the extensive resources available in this richly endowed state.

Israel has long been our staunch ally and the only true democracy in the Middle East. I support our two nations' continued cooperation as long as our values and goals align, and I believe that, as their ally, we should help them defend themselves. This also helps protect the interests of the United States, its citizens, and its assets in that region and worldwide.

What is your view of President Donald Trump's measures to enhance border security?

The current administration is following the law on protecting our borders. Without secure and clearly defined borders, we do not have a country.

Marriage

In 2024, Californians voted to amend the state Constitution to establish marriage as a fundamental right regardless of sex. What is your view on this amendment?

Californians voted for this change in the state Constitution. Personally, I believe in marriage between one man and one woman.

Abortion

After the Supreme Court returned abortion policymaking to the states, do you believe that is the correct level of government to decide this issue, or should Congress or the Constitution establish a national standard?

Our founding fathers crafted an inspired Constitution that limits the power of our federal government to protect the rights of all Americans from an overreaching and unapproachable government. I personally believe that preborn babies deserve the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Parental Rights

What is your view of the Supreme Court’s decision supporting a parents’ right to know about their child’s gender issues at school?

I agree with this decision. As a children's and parental rights advocate and founder of Save Girls' Sports Central Coast, I believe that parents are the first and best protectors of their children's interests and should partner with schools and never be excluded from working toward the common goal of supporting a thriving, healthy child.

Vaccines

What is your view of California's vaccine mandate for public school students?

California requires too many vaccinations and allows for no personal or religious exemptions. In my opinion, this violates individual, religious, and parental rights. Parents and medical professionals should be the main decision-makers regarding their children's health. Many children are unfairly excluded from participation in state-funded schools and programs merely for following their family's constitutionally protected religious and health views.
