Beginning on November 1, 2024 all county elections officials must work together with the county sheriff or county jail facility administrators to establish a polling place at each county jail facility for any incarcerated person to perform all traditional voting activities, including register to vote, return a vote by mail ballot, update the voter’s voter registration, receive a replacement ballot upon verification, and receive a provisional ballot.
